KSOU Mysore MA is a two-year full-time programme. The university offers more than 14 specialisations, namely, English, Hindi, History, Kannada, etc. Admission to this programme is merit-based. For KSOU Mysore MA admission, candidates who have passed three years of degree programs without studying the Cognate subjects are also eligible. Such admitted candidates have to qualify for the Master’s Preparatory Program (MPP) examination conducted by the Karnataka State Open University. MPP is not applicable for admission to MA in Journalism and Mass Communication.
