KSOU Mysore MA Eligibility & Highlights 2025
KSOU Mysore MA is a two-year full-time programme. The university offers more than 14 specialisations, namely, English, Hindi, History, Kannada, etc. Admission to this programme is merit-based. For KSOU Mysore MA admission, candidates who have passed three years of degree programs without studying the Cognate subjects are also eligible. Such admitted candidates have to qualify for the Master’s Preparatory Program (MPP) examination conducted by the Karnataka State Open University. MPP is not applicable for admission to MA in Journalism and Mass Communication.

In this virtual placement drive, more than 10 companies participated to fill nearly 2,000 job vacancies. The salary package offered by the participating companies stood between INR 3 LPA and INR 6 LPA during the KSOU Mysore virtual placement drive 2023.
Earlier, a total of 421 students were selected out of 431 students who participated during the Apprenticeship Fair 2022 that was held for ITI students. The apprenticeship fair was jointly held by Karnataka State Open University’s placement cell and industrial training and employment department.
