Kumaun University is a central university of uttrakhand state situated in nainital, Uttarakhand.
It was established in year 1973 and is one of the oldest University in uttrakhand.
Because of its scenic view and facilities and affordablity it is considered as the best university not only in nainital but whole Uttarakhand.
It's placement records and great allumani network has shown a good ROI (return on investment) in any degree from this university.
Kumaun University offers a total number of 120 seats. On the other hand, the Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University offers 60 seats for the BPharm course. The reason for this difference in seat intake is because Kumaun University offers BPharm seats through its Pharmaceutical department and one of the constituent campuses, Sir J.C. Bose Technical Campus, Bhimtal. Further, HNGBU only offers BPharm seats through the university's campus.
Kumaun University offers a total number of 6,775 seats. On the other hand, the Doon University only offers 200 seats for the BCom course. The reason for this big difference in seat intake is because Kumaun University is affiliated with around 30 colleges that offer BCom courses in general and honors degrees. However, Doon University does not offer BCom courses with affiliated colleges.
