MBBS - Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery - Batch of 2029
Offered by Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal

It is a good college with a nice environment.
Placements: The college has niceplacements. The placements you get after internship are in rural areas. The salary is quite good, could be more, but it's quite enough. You get an environment in rural areas to study patients, which helps us in becoming better doctors. The internship is also good.
Infrastructure: The college faculty is good, practical labs are well-equipped, and helpful. The hostels have a bit of shortage, especially for girls. Otherwise, the lecture theatres are luxurious, comfortable, have AC, and mics/projectors. The college encourages smart study, a modern way of learning.
Faculty: Exams are held regularly and strictly. The faculty is nice and helpful, with a good knowledge of medicine. The curriculum is strictly followed and is relevant, making students ready for the industry. Exams are just of average level, and the pass percentage is 50%.
Other: Nice environment to develop friendships and connections.

Good infrastructure, good faculty, and all other facilities are very good.
Placements: There are very good placements in our batch and the seniors' batch. The highest package was 9 LPA, and the lowest was 3-4 LPA. India's top companies, such as Sagenta, UPL, Patanjali, and KVK, are recruiting students, and the college conducts various types of internships on multiple occasions. It is a very good university.
Infrastructure: Good infrastructure is available in all departments, featuring very good and well-maintained facilities, labs, clean classrooms, and a library well-stocked with course books and other informative materials. In agriculture, there is a polyhouse, a net house, a soil testing lab, and many more.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful for students, well-qualified faculty, and the teaching manner is very awesome. They provide studies with proper field and practical knowledge, which prepares students for practical life. All semester exams are conducted on time, and the passing percentage is very good.
Other: Scholarships are very good because not all students are able to pay the full fee, and many events are conducted by our college.

MBBS - Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery - Batch of 2028

A good college. Campus is not big. Hospital and college infrastructure are good, and I am satisfied.
Placements: So in MBBS you don't get placements. 100 percent of the students got an internship in our own Hamidia Hospital, i.e., mandatory as per NMC norms, after completing 4.5 years of MBBS. During internship days, students get exposure to every department as we have to attend clinical postings, surgeries, wards, and OPDs.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite good because most of the things were renovated a few years back. There are well-equipped labs, but a few of them lack a few things. Lecture theatre and classrooms are good because they're new, built 4-5 years ago, and they have AC, but it doesn't work all the time. Hostels are within the campus (a big advantage). Most of the boys' hostels are old but get renovated over time, and you can renovate your room according to your choice. Every hostel has its own mess, but the food is not as good as in every college. Talking about canteens, there are 2 canteens on the campus.
Faculty: Professors over here are knowledgeable but it depends on the way they teach. Some are great teachers, but a few are not as good as others. Curriculum gets updated regularly as per NMC guidelines. Talking about passing percentage in every batch, a few get supplementary and get passed by writing supplementary exam, if they fail in that too, they have to join junior batch, especially if they get supplementary in 1st year. Passing university exams sometimes depends on the subject too, some subjects have very few chances to fail, and some have very high chances to get supplementary.
Other: We have our own college fest, Plexus, where we can participate in various events like cultural (dancing, singing, drama), sports, literary, and many more. Another fest where we participate is an intercollege competition called Retina, which is held in AIIMS Bhopal.

Good academically but infrastructure is not very good.
Placements: Almost 100 percent of the students get placed in CHC and PHC. The highest package is 25 LPA, and the lowest is 7.2 LPA. Apollo Health Care is the top recruiter. 100 percent of the students get internships at Sanjay Gandhi Hospital, Rewa. The top roles are medical officer and senior resident.
Infrastructure: The construction is old, and hostels are not good. The college building is old and unclean. The college is equipped with CCTV cameras and smart classrooms. There are large conference halls and demonstration rooms to accommodate 200 people. The college does not have any outdoor sports facility.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and among the best in their field. Teaching quality is also good. The course is very effective and makes students ready to handle real-world scenarios, including complex medical emergencies and patient care. Overall, it is great.
Other: This is my dream course. The best part of the course is the practical application of knowledge and helping people.

MBBS - Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery - Batch of 2029

Satisfied with the college. It's just the fees are on the higher side, otherwise it's good.
Placements: Many students get selected from this college for the NEET PG seats. Not just the state quota, but also from AIC. The interns are paid around Rs. 8,000. Every student studying in this college gets an internship in the hospital of the college itself.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good as it has developed more during the 25th anniversary of the college, but the hostel is a bit on the mid side. Classrooms and labs are average, as there is no air conditioning available. The library is good for studying. Some sports are available.
Faculty: The faculty is top-notch for the college. The college is doing so well academically. The professors are well-qualified and are here from top colleges. The semester exams are quite difficult, and the internal and practical exams also, but the revision classes are provided by the faculty.

The college is good in comparison to other Madhya Pradesh government medical colleges.
Placements: In India, there is a lack of healthcare workers, especially good doctors, so all students are well settled and placed in different hospitals. The highest package in the MBBS course totally depends on you and your capabilities. In MBBS, after 4.5 years, we have to do a 1-year internship in our college-associated hospital.
Infrastructure: Our college has most of the things found in the best medical colleges. Our college has a large building area, and above-average facilities are available. The quality of food is also good, provided for 2200 Rs. Our canteen is not that great, and the sports area is also average, with all facilities.
Faculty: Most teachers are helpful. Most teachers have good knowledge of their subject. The course is relevant, as it is obvious that doctors should be very talented and intelligent, so their exams are also difficult. The passing criteria in MBBS colleges are 50 percent marks.
Other: Our country needs good doctors, so we have to emphasise our talent and the best quality teachers. I wish to have better professors in medical colleges.
