NEET MDS Application Form 2025 (Over): Correction Window (Opens), Registration Link, Last Date, Exam Fees, Process

NBE is providing the NEET MDS 2025 application correction window in two phases. The NEET MDS 2025 application correction window is open from March 14 to 17, 2025, after the conclusion of the application process. The final application correction window or the image correction facility will be open from March 27 to 31, 2025. Only those candidates completing the NEET MDS application process will be allowed to opt for this facility where they will be given a chance to make changes in selected fields. 

The NEET MDS official website is hosted by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS). There are two paths to reach the official website of NEET MDS. The official website of NBEMS is natboard.edu.in and nbe.edu.in. Now, let us take a look at the navigation or the route to reach the NEET MDS portal hosted by NBE.

Hence, candidates can follow either of the paths to visit the NEET MDS 2025 website.

The NEET MDS 2025 application process started on February 18, 2025, 3 PM. The application process of NEET MDS 2025 was completely online. The last date of NEET MDS 2025 application was March 10, 2025, 11.55 PM. The dates of NEET MDS 2025 application form was announced by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) on its official website through notification and information bulletin on February 17, 2025, a day prior to the commencement of the application process. The NEET MDS 2025 exam will be conducted on April 19, 2025.

In order to apply or appear for the NEET MDS exam, candidates have to fulfill the following eligbility criteria:

• Candidates must have completed Bachelor of Dental Sciences (BDS) programme from an institute recognised by the Dental Council of India (DCI)

• They must be registered with the Dental Council of India (DCI) or State Dental Council (SDC) (permanent/provisional)

• They must have completed 12 months of compulsory rotatory internship on or before the stipulated date.

In case a candidate does not fulfill any of the above mentioned NEET MDS eligibility criterion, then he/she will not be considered for the MDS admission process. 

The NEET MDS 2025 application process was conducted for a duration of approximately four weeks, The NEET MDS 2025 application process was conducted from February 18 to March 10, 2025. Last year, the NEET MDS application process was conducted from January 30, 2024, to February 19, 2024. NBE did not extend the NEET MDS application last date. However, the registration window was reopened in February since the internship deadline was extended. Based on the student requests or other factors, the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), the exam conducting body may decide to extend the last date of application. The application fee has to be paid till the last date to complete the process. Candidates should note that they should complete the application process within the given deadline and not wait for NBE to extend the last date.    

The date of completing the BDS internship as per the NEET MDS 2025 eligibility criteria is March 31, 2025. In case a candidate does not complete the BDS internship within the said date, he or she will not be eligible to appear for the exam. However, if he or she is issued the NEET MDS 2025 admit card,   then the candidate will be able to appear for the exam, but during the further checking of candidature, or during the document verification, he or she would be considered non-qualified. 

According to the NEET MDS 2025 eligibility criteria, applicants must have completed their internship on or before March 31, 2025. In case a candidate is unable to complete the internship within the said date will not be considered eligible. Unless the exam authorities decide to extend the NEET MDS 2025 internship cutoff date, candidates must endeavour to complete the internship within the same date.   

No, there is no fee involved for editing the NEET MDS application form. Only those candidates who would complete the NEET MDS application process by paying the requisite application fee will be eligible to make changes or avail the edit window for NEET MDS. It is important to identify the changes to be done on the NEET MDS application form and execute those within the said timelines, otherwise their application will not be considered and they will not be eligible to apper for the exam. 

In general, the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) or NBE provides the NEET MDS application correction facility twice. In the first round of NEET MDS application correction or edit window, changes can be done in any of the fields except for name, nationality, email, mobile number and test city. On the other hand, in the final edit window, candidates have to rectify their deficient or incorrect images or photographs, signatures and thumb impressions. 

After submitting the NEET MDS application form, candidates are advised to go through the submitted form to check whether all the information entered are correct or not. In case there is a mistake, then you have to make the changes in the first NEET MDS edit window. In case of a deficient image or signature, NBE will mail candidates with the details and candidates have to edit the images accordingly.

• Gender
• Parents' Names
• Religion
• Category
• EWS and PWD status
• Identification Type
• Correspondence Address
• BDS Qualification and Internship Details

• If you appeared for NEET MDS before

• Have any unfair means registered against you by NBEMS?

The following fields cannot be edited in the NEET MDS application correction window:

• Candidate Name
• Nationality
• Mobile Number
• Email address
• Permanent address
• Test centre city choice.

There are two types of NEET MDS application correction window. In the first and primary correction window, and the final correction window. In the first or primary NEET MDS correction window, candidates can make corrections or changes in the informtion entered in the application form, except for a few fields. On the other hand, in the NEET MDS final correction window, candidates will be able to make corrections in the incorrect or deficient images of photograph, signature and thumb impression. Candidates will not be able to make changes in the images in the primary correction window and vice versa. 

Before starting the NEET MDS application process, candidates should keep the following information or documents ready.

Candidates must go through the instructions shared by NBE prior to starting the application process. 

No, it is not recommended to filll the NEET MDS application form from your mobile phone. Even though it is not technically impossible, but there may be other challenges regarding file upload or fee payment. The internet connection may also not be stable on your mobile phones. Moreover, one of the steps in NEET MDS application form is to click a realtime photo on the webcamera. Filling the application form through mobile phone will hamper this process as uploading selfies is not allowed. Hence, candidates are advised to fill and submit the NEET MDS 2025 application form on their desktop or laptop computers. 

Candidates should ensure that they use a the latest or updated browser for filling the NEET MDS application form. Some of the accepted web browsers and their versions are as follows:

• Internet Explorer (version 11 and above) or
•  Mozilla Firefox (version 61 or above) or
•  Google Chrome (version 70 or above) 

Candidates must ensure that the browsers are properly running at a high-speed and the cookies are deleted. The internet connection should also be stable so avoid any hiccups. 

No, NEET MDS application form can be filled in an online mode only. Candidates will have to visit the NBE website and click on the NEET MDS section and complete the registration and application procedure by filling in the mandatory details, uploading the documents such as certificates, photograph and signature, and paying the requisite application fee in an online mode. Even if a candidate plans to send the hardcopy of the filled up NEET MDS application form by post, it will not be accepted making the candidate ineligible to appear for the exam. 

Candidates need to upload scanned copy of a passport-sized photograph, signature and thumb impression. In case a candidate belongs to reserved category, they will have to upload their category certificate as a proof of their category. The documents have to be uploaded online while filling the NEET MDS 2025 application in the requisite size/dimension and format. Candidates may also have to upload documents related to the internship details as well. 

While uploading photograph and signature at the NEET MDS application form, candidates will have to keep in mind the following factors. 

• The photographs should be coloured and black and white photographs will not be accepted
• Candidate's face, eyes and ears must be clearly visible
• The photograph must be clicked against a white background
• Candidates should not be wearing caps or sunglasses in the photograph and there should not be reflection of light on the glasses, which are worn by candidates regularly
• Candidate's name and date of the photograph at the bottom
• Signatures should be done in blue or black ballpoint pen against a white background.

While filling the NEET MDS application form, there is a step wherein candidates' realtime photograph has to be clicked through the web camera of the computer used for filling the form. The guidelines for taking this photograph are as follows:

• Confirm that the computer system has a functional built-in camera
• Dress up in formal attire
• Stand or sit against a white background
• There should be a bright light falling on the face of the candidate, but not on the web camera
• The image must not include other objects or additional people. Ensure that you are only one person in picture
• The image must contain the full face, ears, neck, and shoulders of the entrant in frontal view with a neutral, non-smiling expression and with eyes open and directed at the camera
• The image must not contain any parts of the body below the entrant's shoulders.
• Click  on “Capture Photo” button in the application form.

Candidates will have to upload their scanned photographs, signature and certificates or documents while filling the NEET MDS application form. The photograph and signature should be in JPG or JPEG formats. The file size should not exceed 80 KB. The dimension of the photograph should be 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm and that of the signature is 6 cm x 3 cm. The format of other documents should be PDF. Files not fulfilling these requirements will not be accepted. 

Candidates can select only one exam city preference in the NEET MDS application form. The total number of NEET MDS 2025 exam cities is 59. Last year, the number of cities has increased by three. Since only one exam city choice is allowed, candidates must choose the city carefully, which is the closest to their present address. 

NEET MDS application process is completely online. Candidates have to visit the official website of NEET MDS or the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) and after that, they will have to visit the NEET MDS section and follow the steps given below.

• Click on "NEET-MDS"
• In the Links section, click on "New Registration"
• Enter the following details

• Check the details for errors
• Click on "Submit"
• User ID and password will be sent to the registered email ID and mobile number
• Login using the "Applicant Login" section
• Enter the user ID and password
• Click on "Go to application form"
• Candidate’s Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Nationality, Mobile number and Email address will be pre-filled in the application form.
• Enter personal details such as

• Once this section is complete, click on "Save and Next"
• Choose the desired NEET MDS test centre city.

The NEET MDS application fee has to be paid in online mode only. The different methods of paying the NEET MDS application fee are as follows:

3. Net Banking

After the completion of the NEET MDS application process, candidates will have to go to the fee payment page and enter the necessary details. A fee payment confirmation will be sent by NBE. 

The NEET MDS 2025 application fee varies according to the candidate categories. The fee amount has remained the same as last year. The NEET MDS application fee for the General and OBC category candidates is INR 3,500. For the reserved category candidates such as the Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Person with a disability (PWD), the application fee is INR 2,500. Last year, the fee amount was reduced from the previous year, which was INR 4,250 and INR 3,250 for Open and reserved category candidates. It is expected that the NEET MDS 2025 application fee will remain the same as last year. The application fee has to be paid through Credit Card, Debit Card or Net Banking modes. 

In such a scenario, you should wait for a while and login to your NEET MDS account again. In case of temporary glitch, the website may show the status of application as incomplete but it once the issue is resolved, the status will be shown as application successful. On the other hand, if any of the step, or the application fee payment is still pending, then you should check which stage it has been stuck and repeat the step again. In case the application fee is pending, then candidates are advised to pay the fee again to get confirmation on the NEET MDS application process. In case of double payment, the additional fee amount will be reversed to source. 

No, candidates are not required to send any documents through post. They will have to upload the documents online, while filling the NEET MDS application form. The documents should be in PDF format and within the size prescribed by NBE. In case a candidate sends the documents via post instead of online, their candidature will be cancelled and will not be eligible to appear for the exam. 

The NEET MDS 2025 registration last date was March 10, 2025. The National Board of Examinations (NBE) did not extend the last date, but may reopen the last date of application process based on external factors or student requests. Candidates were advised not to wait for an extended window and complete the registration process within the original deadline.  

No, candidates are not allowed to edit each and every detail of the NEET MDS application form. As per last year's trend, applicants could edit every detail except name, date of birth, nationality, mobile number, and email ID. Candidates will also be given a chance to rectify their images or signatures, or any other files uploaded by them. There is no additional charge levied to make corrections in the NEET MDS application.
