I am satisfied because of highly qualified professors and good placement record from past 5 years.
Placements: Almost 80% of the students from our course got placement. The highest package offered in the previous year is 10 LPA. The average salary package offered is 4 LPA. Many students from our course got an internship in Siemens. Our seniors also got placed in Siemens with the average salary package of 5 LPA. Many companies like Infosys and Accenture visit our campus for placements.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is available all over the campus. There is a Nescafe on our campus. Almost all the crowd of college can be seen during recess time. The hostel has a good infrastructure with well-furnished rooms. Labs are well maintained with more than 100 labs in our university. All the instruments are available in the labs, and we do a different type of experiments.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are highly qualified, and some are PhD holders. Teachers are very helpful, and they also help us in cracking GATE exams. They also conduct online classes sometimes.
Other: I am in the EEE course, and I took admission in the year 2017. I am going to pass out in 2021. we organise different cultural functions in our university. We also conduct a fresher party for the new students. We dance and enjoy it very much.

Excellent faculty members, awesome environment and average placements.
Placements: The university has different schools, and as compared to B.Tech, placements in other schools are quite good especially in management. Placements of CS are better than other branches in B.Tech. Placements of master degree courses are better than graduation courses.
Infrastructure: Our college's infrastructure and design are good. All the necessary facilities which should be available in any college are available. There are separate libraries in different schools and also a central library. There are practical labs for experiments and explanation purpose. Every classroom has windows for direct sunlight and ventilation purpose, and all the classrooms are equipped with AC and projectors for studying. There are seminar halls in different schools for workshops and presentations purpose. The university is contributing to the eco-friendly nature in the smart city by installing solar panels on the roof for electricity. The hostel design is also good, and every room has direct sunlight. There is also a ground for hostlers to play in the evening. The college has a cafeteria, but the university has to work on its cafeteria and ground.
Faculty: Faculty members in different schools are well-qualified and have helping nature. Almost every faculty member has their own research papers. Our university follows Himachal Pradesh University's course curriculum, and course curriculum activities such as industrial visits, Technnovation and workshops are held from time-to-time. The law department organises local court trials in the university itself. There are different skill developing programmes and clubs in schools.
Other: Fresher's party and fest are conducted every year to which well-known Punjabi singers are invited. MOUs were signed with different universities and companies like Siemens, etc.

If you going to take admission in this university, hold on, drop one year, and try for NIT and IIT.
Placements: The placements in the college were not very good. We were the first batch of B.Tech in electrical and electronics and they were not able to call good companies to the college. Most of the students that were placed were mostly through off-campus drives. Only a few were placed from the college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the institute was good. Buildings, chemistry labs, computer labs- everything was very well constructed. However, the sports grounds were not prepared till we were there, and there were no extra-curricular activities.
Faculty: In our stream, the teachers were very good in the first and second year. But after the second year, they were changed, which I think was not good for us. Most of the teachers were very young in every stream. There should be at least two teachers in every stream with both knowledge and a good work experience in a company so that they can guide us properly.
