Super infrastructure and lackluster student life experience.

Placements: In 2023, 23 out of 38 M.Tech students got placed, with a median package of 4.50 LPA. More than 92% of students are placed. More than 90% get internships. Placements are also average. Only some students get higher packages. Most of the students secure a package of 4 - 5 LPA.

Infrastructure: There are adequate facilities such as classrooms, libraries, laboratories, sports facilities, medical rooms, sanitation facilities, and computer labs. They are essential for creating a conducive learning environment. A qualified teacher has the right academic qualifications and training to teach effectively.

Faculty: Some students say that the exams are difficult. Teachers are all highly qualified and experienced, and the course is designed to make students industry-ready through a practical approach. But the exam level is intermediate. Teachers are also very supportive.

Other: This course provides me with the knowledge and skills necessary to tackle environmental challenges, which I believe is crucial for our future. Events and fests are too good. The campus crowd is not too much.

It is a good university in all aspects. If you need a degree, do not bother about placements.

Placements: Almost 50% of students got placed in our college. About 10% of students had not applied for placements. The highest salary package offered was 4.8 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 3 LPA. Orange Business Services was the top and good recruiting company. The remaining students got placed off-campus in MNCs like TCS, Accenture, and IBM.

Infrastructure: The campus was Wi-Fi enabled, but it was not working on top floors. Classrooms were good. The library needs to be a little updated as all books were outdated. The hostel life was somewhat struggling between 4 walls. The food served in the mess was not good. The hostel staff used to pass personal comments.

Faculty: Teachers were helpful and qualified till 2020. After that, most of them switched to other universities, and new professionals were hired. They were good but lack in knowledge. They did not know how to cover the syllabus. They had not made us practice coding. The theoretical part was mostly covered in class.

I'm dissatisfied with bad quality of education and less placements.

Placements: Around 80% of students got placed in our college in BPOs and other companies which were not relevant to computer science. Placements were provided as per TPO. They sent students for off-campus placements. The highest salary package offered was 6.5 LPA, the lowest salary package was 3 LPA, and the average salary package was 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Orange Business Services, Acro Technology, and OATI India. Around 2 students got placed off-campus in TCS including me. Students were not interested to do internships. The top role offered was software engineer.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure of our college were good. Wi-Fi was available on campus. Classrooms were good. Computers in the labs were old and don't work. It was difficult to install a simple program on those computers. The library was good with all the books and study materials. Our college supported students for NPTEL certifications.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college were not good. They didn't have syllabus knowledge and were unable to teach properly. They left everything to students. DSA teachers could not code simple programs. Their teaching quality was not good. The course curriculum was irrelevant to the industry. It included subjects like commerce management, natural disaster financial management, and many more for computer science students. It didn't teach good skills to students. Semester exams were easy. Teachers taught those topics which were important for exams. Around 70% of students pass exams because 30% of them write exams without any preparation. The quality of course, faculty members, and exams was not good.

Other: I chose this course as I got a 40% scholarship because of my good marks in 12th and JEE. The best thing about our college was it was affordable. Our college didn't train students for placements. The course curriculum and faculty members should be improved in our college. Students of our college didn't get awareness about placements. Events organised in our college were good and enjoyable. Scholarships were provided to deserving students. I got a scholarship every semester for being first in class. Campus connectivity was good but the campus surroundings and crowd were not good.

Review of Baddi University.

Placements: Around 3 students were placed in a low-profile company. We didn't get any kind of internship programs. Placement cell doesn't try to help students in getting placements. Internship is the most valuable practice for our course but our university didn't give any kind of skill practice during the entire degree.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi speed was 2G bandwidth. Classrooms are like store rooms with no paint on walls and look like a cemetery. There is no cleanliness maintained until there's a complaint filed. Sweepers show their attitude while cleaning the room as if we intentionally made it dirty.

Faculty: Faculty is under-qualified for teaching even the basic subjects of the syllabus. HODs of every department are using their designations as a formality to get paid. Every member of the staff is working for the sake of money.

Other: Students have to please the placement cell employees to get placements booked. Hostel food is terrible. It is not suitable for animals also.

It is a good college, and placements are also good.

Placements: Our college provides good placements in the CSE branch. The top recruiting companies were Google and Amazon. I got placed in Wipro, and the average salary package offered was 6 LPA.

Infrastructure: In this college, Wi-Fi was enabled. The classes were updated and students get Wi-Fi on campus as well. The infrastructure was good, and it provides 25 acres of land.

Faculty: Teachers were excellent in their field, and the curriculum was updated. Students and teachers had good bonding with each other. The pass percentage was 40%, which was easy for students who study regularly. Everyone easily passed the exams. Staff and teachers were very cooperative and knowledgeable. All teachers were qualified in their streams.

Other: It is a good college for middle-class families. The fee structure was affordable.

There are good enough reasons for you to consider this university.

Placements: Placements in our college were good, and companies visited the campus frequently. Companies offering almost every package slab were invited, and many students were placed. Students were offered roles ranging from back-end tech support to software developer in some of the renowned companies like Orange, iGate (Capgemini), etc.

Infrastructure: The campus is well-equipped with facilities. It is a UGC approved infrastructure with facilities catering to the need of every department and respective students. It includes all the basic amenities and essentials, be it projects, sports and games. Playground facilities for various sports like cricket, football, badminton, and volleyball are available. There is a dedicated doctor present in the department.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college were very good and knowledgeable. Many faculty members were directors with PhDs. There was a good balance between theoretical and practical teaching with emphasis on presentations and communication skills, giving students a chance to take the initiative.

I always felt lucky to have enrolled in Baddi University.

Placements: The placement cell of Baddi University is really hardworking. Reputed companies like IBM, Infosys, BookMyShow and even the small companies visit our college to offer placements. Students who have the capability got placed in campus placements.

Infrastructure: In terms of the infrastructure, Baddi University is really good despite the locality. Each department in this university had the desired infrastructure for the overall growth of students. All the departments, be it engineering department or management department or agriculture department, are equipped with enough infrastructure like classrooms and practical laboratories. Apart from the academics, the infrastructure of the hostel was really great and has every required facility like well-furnished rooms and playground for every game.

Faculty: Faculty members in the engineering department are very reliable and highly educated. I always felt lucky to have enrolled in such a beautiful university. Teachers and other staff in the university are very humble. Even the faculty of management department were really great as I've heard from my friends in that department.

Other: The fest is the main thing about this university, for which it is famous. Celebrities like Raftar, Jazzy B, Falak Shabeer and Honey Singh have performed in our university.

The infrastructure and placements are good.

Placements: Placements in Baddi University were good. Baddi University has a very active placement cell. 80% of students from our batch were placed in good companies, and they all are getting good salaries. Companies like Capgemini, IBM, Orange, etc., visited the campus to offer placements.

Infrastructure: Facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library, medical facilities, sports and games, etc., were available on the campus and were in good condition. Quality of food available in the canteen was good. The hostel infrastructure was also good. Sports like table tennis, football, basketball ball, volleyball, badminton, etc., were available on the campus.

Faculty: Faculty members and course curriculum were good. All the teachers were helpful. They used creative methods to teach, and they have good teaching skills. Quality of teaching was good. We also got industry exposure. The course curriculum was very useful for our future.
