I would not recommend students to take admission, and better go to IIMC or AAFT.

Placements: There were only a few campus selections that happened. Only 3% of students were placed in our course. The highest salary package offered was 4 LPA, and the lowest salary pacakge offered was 2 LPA. The top recruiting companies were Samachar Plus and Amar Ujala. Almost 50% of students in our course got internships from Amar Ujala. Mostly offered a role in our course was content writing.

Infrastructure: The classrooms were big and neat, and laboratories were provided for science students. The library in our college was very good with lots of books, proper maintenance, and silence. Hostel food was not good, so I changed to PG after one year. Medical facilities were not available in college only first aid can be allotted. Sports and games happen once a year only.

Faculty: Some of our professors were very good special Aniruddh sir, but many were there to demoralize. Teaching quality was average with no practical approach. The course was not good enough for getting industry-ready because the only theory was taught there. Semester exams were average, anyone who can write pages can pass semester exams here.

Other: I opted for this course because I wanted to be a voice-over artist and still trying to make it. I wish the course should focus more on practical things rather than reading theories, and only one event called Pratibha once a year was there everything else was missing.

Makhan lal chaturvedi is good for journalism.

Placements: MCU is first university of Asia to start journalism and it has got amazing placement opportunities. You can think of it for journalism. It's one of the best university for journalism with good atmosphere and faculty members as well. University has their tie ups with all major media platforms.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is great, just like other colleges do have. Good canteen, classrooms everything is just so pleasing and fantastic. You can't get enough of it. Classrooms have good table and chairs. University has got a very professional infrastructure where you get vibes to work harder.

Faculty: Faculty members of the college are very helpful and supportive. Your each and every doubt will be cleared by the faculty members. Faculty members here belong from good stream and all legendary from media industry teach you here. Faculty members here will give you every possible help required.

Low quality education and not a good environment to study.

Placements: There are no placements provided in the college. They told us to go elsewhere for placements, and they never thought about it. We just walked away after the completion of our course. We have to go for further studies or join any low private industry to work. Don't take admission here, and you will destroy your future by joining here.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is weak. There is a single short building, and there are 12 departments. The chancellor is always silent regarding the problems of students, and he never helps the students. There are politics in the college. We have to manage everything by ourselves in the classroom and laboratory. No one tries to help with the broken equipment in the labs.

Faculty: There is no interaction between the students and teachers because all the teachers are busy in teaching theory which is boring. Don't take admission here. Computer application course is good, but mass communication is not. Every department faculty are bad. All courses have a low fee, but the quality of education is also low. They have to improve many things.

Other: Don't take admission in this college; there is no quality.

It is one of the oldest Media Universities in India.

Placements: In the Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Mass Communication, we are getting very good guidance and placements. Last year, our students got placed in very known Media houses like Dainik Bhaskar, Bansal news, DD news and radio like DD Radio, My Fm, Radio Mirchi, and Big Fm. They are even working as a freelancer like Anchors in functions, street events, etc. Approximately 60% of the students got placed last year. The highest salary was 20k from DD news, and the lowest was 10K from Dainik Bhaskar. The students were given desk work, and print students work on the field, and we have our Rj Pihu in FM 94.3. Approximately 70% of the students get the internship in different media houses all over India. We have a placement cell, and therefore, we are getting such good placements.

Infrastructure: Now, we are located in the centre of Bhopal City, and very soon, we will be shifted to our 50 acres campus in Ratibadh which in near to Bhopal. There, the construction of our own studios is going on, so that our students can learn before the internship and we are also publishing our own newspaper where the students are working.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and brilliant. They know how to handle the new generation, journalists, and their knowledge about journalism is vast that you don't have to google everything. The teaching quality is very good. They take us to the field to help us connect to great inspirations in the field, and help to get exposure in the industry.

Other: We have our annual fest Pratibha each year, and every department has a lab with internet connection so that the students can learn more. The university building is in the centre of the city and near all media houses of Madhya Pradesh. We have different kinds of scholarships, to know more, log on to www.mcu.ac.in.

Placements: The college provides the campus selection, and the placements are offered in the college. The environment of the college is good, and it's beneficial for the students because the college has the only media and media-related courses which has the benefit and point for the students.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is nice. There are the media lab, library and studio in the college for the increasing of practical and theoretical knowledge of the students. The infrastructure of the college is made as a convenient environment as basis related to media.

Faculty: The faculty of the college is good, helpful and flexible. They always try to teach us the professional fundamental of media because they also related to the media agencies. The different types of media branches helps you to increase your media skills.

The course and teachers are good and provide good support to enter the industry.

Placements: Due to covid, there was not much placement process happening at that time but after that everything went normal and most of the students were placed in good media institutions. News organisations like ABP news, Inshorts, ETV Bharat, and TV9 Bharat were the few prominent recruiters. As far as internship is concerned, most of my friends got internships in many newspapers and news channels.

Infrastructure: There are good and well maintenance studios for carrying out recordings and the college's library is one of the main attractions on the campus. It consists of books of almost all domains. Every department includes a newsroom for students in which they prepare weekly newspapers. Classrooms are quite sufficient to accommodate all the students.

Faculty: This course is quite relevant that makes the student know the things required to become a journalist. Almost everyone in my session got passed with a good CGPA score. The course is also more based on practical knowledge rather than on theory. The teachers are quite helpful as almost every faculty got 8-10 years of experience in their field.

Other: The annual fest Pratibha provides opportunities for students to develop other skills. Social category-based scholarships are granted to eligible students. One more thing that makes the campus attractive is its location. The campus is located near the press complex so students can pursue internships and jobs near the campus.

University is good for doing the journalism and mass communication course.

Placements: Placements are at average. Not very big companies comes for placements but some medium size companies comes and places the students. If students want bigger package and want a multinational companies than he has to do his own efforts. In final word the placements are not good.

Infrastructure: The university is situated in middle of town. It has a building with 6 floor, we can say that currently university has a very bad infrastructure. But, a new campus is under construction outside of the town and in next university will be shifted at new place.

Faculty: Faculty and course curriculum are at average. The faculty and good in behavior, friendly, they focused on practical rather than theory. Head of department is also good in behavior they listen to student and try to improve their experience and students experience.

Placements: Placement is quite satisfied. Bhopal is good place for media student there danik Bhaskar and many more press related company are there around the campus itself is hub for mass communication student there faculty of mass communication is so good they will guide you choose paths related your talent.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of MCU have 6 floor divided into different department. Every department works on different area of media. Classroom are good doctor available on working hours. sports we have many sports we can play like football cricket badminton etc. Culture activity is very good there are lots of activities like dance group. dance group song, debate many things that make stronger to fight to that competitive world. There were studios that's lots of work done on that we have lots of camera that help us to learn about them.

Faculty: The teachers were very humble they have lots experience they give best advice for there experience will reflect on there student Our students are all over the world we best in class teaching methods there is 1 teacher for 30 student Yes, there backbone is course curriculum it is very useful.

Other: Event like pratibha is organised every year campus is in good location it switched in centre of the city.
