GATE exam is conducted only once a year to offer admissions to master's and PhD programs at top institutions, such as IITs and NITs. Qualifying GATE exam also paves the way for technical jobs in in PSUs. This year, IIT Guwahati will conduct the GATE 2026 exam. The GATE 2026 exam dates are OUT. The GATE 2026 EXAM DATES are February 7, 8, 14, and 15. The GATE will be held on different dates in two shifts. If your JEE Mains percentage is 86, then you can definitely try to get admitted to Manav Bharti University. However, the minimal JEE Mains cutoff score needed to be admitted to Manav Bharti University has not yet been made public. In order to be admitted to participating institutes for JEE Main, candidates must achieve minimal ranks, also known as closing ranks. Following each counselling session, admission cutoffs for all participating institutes will also be announced. For its BTech programme, Manav Bharti University uses both entrance- and merit-based admissions. The results of any national or state-level entrance exam, such as JEE, AIEEE, etc., would be accepted. The student must take the university entrance exam if they haven't taken any national or state entrance exams. The exam for admission to BTech, BArch, and BPlan courses at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), and institutions/universities funded/recognized by participating State Governments is known as the Joint Entrance Examination (Main), or JEE Main for short. In addition to being a qualifying exam for JEE Advanced, the JEE Main exam is administered for admission to IITs. 

Manav Bharti University (MBU) adopts a merit-based, transparent, and cross-comparison admission method for its various programs, including B.Tech. Candidates will be admitted solely through an Entrance Test. The university considers the test score of all national or state-level entrance tests, such as JEE Mains, and if a student has not appeared in any national or state-level test, they have to take the University Entrance Exam. The minimum eligibility requirement for B.Tech is 12th PCM (45% Gen. & 40% SC/ST)
