MAT is conducted multiple times a year. Most of the MBA entrance exams in India are conducted annually. MAT is the only exam that is conducted multiple times in four phases and multiple exam modes. To make it possible for every MBA aspirant to appear for an entrance exam, AIMA designed MAT, which can be taken by candidates from an exam center as well as at home. The exam is held in February, May, September, and December, which allows candidates to prepare and plan for it as well as for MBA admission. In each of these four months, the MAT is conducted in CBT, PBT, and IBT modes. Candidates can choose a date and a mode of exam based on their preparation and convenience. Registrations for each MAT exam phase start a month earlier. Candidates can also take re-tests in the same academic session if they are not happy with their scores.

Manav Bharti University is a private university located in the Solan district in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. In the 2023 rankings by unirank MBU is ranked 1st in Solan and 488th in India. The placement opportunities at MBU are good with the highest salary being offered INR 6 Lacs per annum. 

The minimum eligibility for admission is that candidates must have passed 10+2 examination with PCM as the main subjects with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks.

The test score of all National or State level entrance tests such as CAT or MAT will be considered for MBA courses.

The entrance exam for MBU is called the MBU entrance test. If a student has not appeared in any National or State entrance test they must appear in the MBU Entrance Test.

The University offers Lateral entry admission for B.Tech programs and for this purpose candidates must have passed Diploma or B.Sc.

Manav Bharti University may follow a seat reservation policy. However, based on the old statistics, 25% of seats are reserved for bona fide students of Himachal Pradesh. The university allocates the seats for various courses based on the applicants' merit in the qualifying exam, performance in the entrance test, and the number of seats allotted for the programme. However, the university may consider the protocol for seat reservations for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/Physically Handicapped) as established by the national or state governments.

If your JEE Mains percentage is 86, then you can definitely try to get admitted to Manav Bharti University. However, the minimal JEE Mains cutoff score needed to be admitted to Manav Bharti University has not yet been made public. In order to be admitted to participating institutes for JEE Main, candidates must achieve minimal ranks, also known as closing ranks. Following each counselling session, admission cutoffs for all participating institutes will also be announced. In JEE Mains 2024, 90.78 for General, 75.62 for GEN-EWS, 73.61 for OBC-NCL, 51.98 for SC, 37.23 for ST, and 0.001 for PwD categories are the anticipated minimum scores needed to be eligible for JEE Advanced. 

As of now, Manav Bharti University has not specified the last date to submit applications for BTech admission. The application deadline may vary every year. GATE exam is conducted only once a year to offer admissions to master's and PhD programs at top institutions, such as IITs and NITs. Qualifying GATE exam also paves the way for technical jobs in in PSUs. This year, IIT Guwahati will conduct the GATE 2026 exam. The GATE 2026 exam dates are OUT. The GATE 2026 EXAM DATES are February 7, 2026 to February 8, 2026 and February 14, 2026 to February 15. 2026. The GATE will be held on different dates in two shifts. Candidates are advised to keep checking the website for the GATE 2026 official notification.
