To get a PG scholarship at SMIT, Manipal University, MSc students are required to achieve good grades in their BSc degree in Physics/ Mathematics/ Chemistry. This scholarship is offered on the basis of merit and provided as a concession on tuition fee. Admissions to SMIT BBA programmes are open early, and students are encouraged to apply early since the institute has limited seats. Applicants can apply before appearing for their final exams. To retain their admission, students must have received a minimum of 55% in a board recognised by the Government of India. 

Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology offers a BCA course for a duration of over three years and integrated courses for a duration of over four to five years. Further divided into six, eight, and ten semesters. The eligibility criteria to get admissions into any of these courses are candidates must complete their Class 12 from any stream with at least an aggregate of 50%. 

Yes, SMIT, Sikkim, has separate hostels for boys and girls and provides accommodation to BBA students. The hostel rooms are two-seaters, well-furnished, and have attached bathrooms with hot water supply during winter. There are separate student messes for boys and Girls. Canteens & food courts are also available for vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals. Recreation rooms with TVs, separate gymnasiums for boys and girls, and sports facilities are available.

However, as per the information available on the official website of the institute, the last date to apply for the MSc course in the academic batch 2024 was July 15, 2024. Hence, it can be anticipated that for this academic year the deadline can fall into the similar dates of the previous one.
