Yes, the Manipal University Jaipur has an entrance test on courses like the BTech. The first exam is referred to as MET (Manipal Entrance Test). Applicants to the BTech programme are required to have a Class 12 pass of 60 percent aggregate or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as core subjects and Chemistry/Computers Science/ Biotechnology/Biology/ Statistics/ Engineering Drawing as optional subjects.

As per the Manipal University, Jaipur various available policy guidelines, no an NRI-sponsored student's programme/total tuition fee must be paid in the USD, & must be wire-transferred from the sponsor's bank A/C to the Manipal University, Jaipur admissions office.

There is no Management quota, or reserved / donation seats or payment seats of any kind whatsoever. The Manipal University, Jaipur grants admission purely on the basis of merit. Manipal University Jaipur has all the qualities of a tier 1 university. The university has been ranked at the 58th position under the Engineering category by NIRF 2025.
