Average yet good college for campus life.

Placements: The placements for the psychology department are close to none after bachelors. And in all the engineering branches, it has mostly been average. You will have to apply off-campus. And some companies have stopped coming to the college.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities available in the college and hostel are some of the best in the country. The Wi-Fi, labs, library, and mess in the college itself are sufficient and top-notch. In the hostel, the food is better than any other college mess.

Faculty: The curriculum of all the departments and branches is updated and relevant. The teachers are okay; some are better. Most of the resources you get are helpful for self-study. The semester exams are not that hard, and one can easily manage them. The teaching is quite flexible.

If you are coming to Manipal to study, it will be a great journey that you will enjoy a lot.

Placements: As for placements, I would not recommend Muj because the placements here are only good for engineering, not psychology. The college is good for placements, but psychology is completely outside of college work; you will need to find internships on your own.

Infrastructure: The college has a perfect ambiance. You will enjoy the wisdom of college. The college has a good number of students, and the teachers are perfect. There are a lot of events going on at the college. And if you join the clubs, you will have the most fun.

Faculty: The curriculum is awesome. The curriculum keeps changing every year, so it is very fun to work with teachers there, and Manipal also takes suggestions after each semester, so you can actually include the things you mention and give specific attention to what students want.

Placements: There's no placement opportunity for B.Sc. psychology course. They have to find job or internship on their own. The course is nice.

Infrastructure: College is beautiful, and the infrastructure of the college is very good. There are different academic blocks, different classrooms, and labs for the students. There are many different outlets, in the college, for the students to have snacks.

Faculty: Faculties are very nice. They are very sweet and helpful. They also guide students with their career opportunity. Teaching pattern is very effective and interactive.

The college is absolutely worth it, and I recommend it.

Placements: The college provides good placement and internship opportunities for B.Tech courses, but there are not many currently for psychology courses. According to my recent talk with the placement officer, they are working on placing the psychology students in good places too.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is beautiful, and it is really well-built, well thought-out and really scenic. Overall, the architecture is well thought-out.

Faculty: The teachers are quite helpful and experienced, but most of the curriculum decisions lie within the contact that the class representative has with the professor. So, it's important to be active in the class groups and have open communication with the professor to suggest improvements, etc.

Other: The club life here is absolutely wonderful. The surroundings are well-suited for college life, and the dorm system is also very comfortable and hotel-like.

It has a great campus life and a good course structure, but faculty members are not good.

Placements: There are no placements for psychology students. They won't even help you with any internships. There are no companies and no help for future goals.

Infrastructure: It has the best hostel in India. There is a psychology lab, but it isn't that great. Psychology students don't get Wi-Fi. The food in the hostel is better than in other hostels. Rooms are also great with many facilities, but it may be costly for a lot of people. We have a lot of sports facilities and recreational activities. There is a medical center in the hostel. There are outlets for food.

Faculty: Faculty members seem to be qualified on paper, but not much. They'll just read ppts and take your exams. They won't care about the syllabus and will just go on their own. The curriculum is well developed. This includes labs, project work, and extra subjects as well. Exams are not very difficult. The pass percentage is 33%.

Let's have a look into the branch of psychology in MUJ.

Placements: The psychology branch doesn't have a lot of placement opportunities from the university. There are a few career counselling sessions throughout the year, but there are no placements for our course. An undergraduate degree in our course is not good enough.

Infrastructure: The resources available, whether they're lab materials or course books, are very good. The library has a good collection of psychology-related books. The labs are adequately equipped with psychological tests and instruments. There is Wi-Fi in every block. Every classroom and lab is centrally air-conditioned.

Faculty: The teaching is overall good. Teachers are understanding, experienced, and have a good way of delivering the lectures. They give assignments and group activities to ensure maximum exposure to the subject. They ensure that all the students pass and help the students absorb the material to their best strength.

Other: There are a lot of activities and fests going on around campus and in the hostel at all times. It's never bad in Manipal.

Beautiful infrastructure, lively campus life and good faculty.

Placements: As psychology requires at least a master's degree for recruiters to take in, job placements are not available for students pursuing Bachelors. Although the university provides internship opportunities to students of Masters in clinical psychology. To take in note that the university is not an rci certified university and does not provide an M.Phil degree.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is actually one of the best you can find in the country, the campus is beautiful and green, and maintained timely. The area on the campus is always clean and drinking water facility is available everywhere. The university provides paid Wi-Fi by ION which is not very good. The library is spacious with cubicles to study alone and rooms for study groups. There is one central library and 1 library each for different departments. The hostel rooms are beautiful. And there are all the facilities provided. Although there are always issues with the functioning of AC.

Faculty: The faculty is mostly with a Ph.D. degree, they are qualified for their job and very knowledgeable. They are student-friendly as well. Every 10-15 students in a class get a mentor above them which is like a guardian for the students on campus. The course curriculum is very relevant and makes students ready for the outside world in every aspect. With theoretical knowledge practical knowledge is also provided. The exams are not very hard and can be cleared easily and students can obtain good CGPA.

Other: I was always keen on studying psychology and I wanted a degree in B.Sc. and Manipal is the very few campuses in north India that provides a psychology degree with Science. Some of the other events keep on happening on the campus. It's very alive and culturally active. You can get a good scholarship easily as well.

Manipal University Jaipur, A plethora of opportunities.

Placements: Placements aren't exactly a thing immediately after a psychology degree. Most opt for a master's and then work so the college does not provide placement options, however, it does provide counselling and workshops with experts on what courses to take after your bachelor.

Infrastructure: The hostel is a great place. The facilities are cleaned regularly, the mess food albeit repetitive sometimes is actually really tasty compared to mess foods in other colleges, housekeeping comes every day, sporting areas such as badminton tennis and squash courts are available too. The only drawback however is there is no free Wi-Fi for non-engineering students which is a big hassle due to the poor network in the area.

Faculty: The psychology batch of Manipal Jaipur is a new one as the college has only started offering degrees in psychology just a few years ago, so most of the faculty is still new and do not have that much experience. However, they do make up for that with the way they teach as they make classes very interesting to sit in with their innovative methods of teaching.
