This is a programme leading to the Bachelors Degree in Education. The programme extends for a period of two years/ four semesters. The course of study shall be by regular attendance for the requisite number of lectures and practical training as per Mahatma Gandhi University Regulations for the B Ed programmes.Candidates who have passed any graduate level degree examination which is recognised by Mahatma Gandhi University with 50 % aggregate marks or equivalent grade (CGPA of 2/CCPA of 5) are eligible for admission.Candidates who have passed Degree examination with Double/Triple main are eligible for admission to B Ed in any of thesubjects they have studied as their Core/main. However, they have to submit copy of the Equivalency/Eligibility Certificate and Programme wise Eligibility Certificate from Mahatma Gandhi University, stating that, their Qualifying Examination isrecognized for seeking admission to the relevant B Ed Degree Course (s) as applicable, at the time of admission. Thisprovision is not applicable in the case of those applicants who have passed their qualifying examination from MGUniversity.
