This college is one of the better options for M.Sc. Botany.

Placements: About 88% of students received placements in various companies. The highest package was 25 LPA, the average package ranged from 18 to 22 LPA, and the lowest package was 15 LPA. Oxfam India, Bayer CropScience, and Environment Conservation were some of the companies that recruited students. Internships were difficult to obtain in my field of study, but around 76% of students secured internships every year.

Overall best college for MCA course.

Placements: Placement opportunities are at 82%. The maximum wage for household items was 12 LPA. The lowest wage from a startup was more than three lakhs. The average pay was around 7 LPA. Leading firms included L&T Finance, Karur Vysya Bank, and NTPC. Prominent career roles were Software Developer and Cloud Architect. 75% of students landed internships.

Without the faculty members, the college would be very poor.

Placements: Honestly, no one from our batch got placed. Only one or two placement drives were conducted, and they were for all types of students, like B.Com and BBA, mostly for banking-related jobs. Very poor behaviour from the side of the placement cell. They didn't conduct any placement drives for us (Computer Science students).

College is very good and highly recommended.

Placements: A good percentage of students are placed. The average packages are mainly from 20,000 to 30,000. Tier is os much more, with recruiting companies like Wipro and so on. A good number of internships are also provided. With it, the course offers jobs related to engine works.

Best college for MCA course.

Placements: At our college, 75% of students get placed in the best departments. Dell Technologies, Hewlett-Packard, and HCL Technologies are some of the top employers. The highest salary is 15 LPA. The minimum pay is 2 LPA, while the average is 7 LPA. To secure internships, students need to search for off-campus jobs, but universities provide all the necessary information. Software development and computer programmes are some of the most common roles that recruiters offer at colleges.

Q:   How can MG University students be eligible for the Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship for College and University Students?
A:

The basic eligibility criteria that students must fulfil to avail Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship for College and University Students are given below:

  • The applicant must be above the 80th percentile of successful candidates in the relevant stream from the respective Board of Examination in Class 12 or equivalent.
  • The applicant must be pursuing regular degree courses and not correspondence or distance mode or pursuing Diploma courses.
  • The applicant must be pursuing courses at colleges/institutions recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education and the respective Regulatory Bodies concerned.
  • The applicant must not be availing the benefit of any other scholarship schemes including State-run scholarship schemes/ fee waivers & reimbursement schemes.
  • The gross parental/family income of the applicant should not exceed ?4,50,000 per annum.
  • For renewal of scholarship in each year of study, besides getting at least 50% marks in the Annual Examination, maintenance of adequate attendance of at least 75%, will also be the criteria.

The University has released the NIRF report 2025. The report incorporates 2024 statistics. As per report, 455 PG-2 year and 26 UG-5 year students were placed during the 2024 placements. The median salary offered to UG-5 year and PG-2 year students was INR 4 LPA and INR 5.5 LPA, respectively.

As per the NIRF report 2025, the median salary for UG 5-year and PG 2-year couses in 2024 stood at INR 4 LPA and INR 5.5 LPA. Earlier, the median salary offered to UG 5-year students in 2023 was INR 3.6 LPA and for PG 2-year it was INR 6 LPA.

No, students can not join Mahatma Gandhi University Kerala. The university accepts admisison based on merit and entrance exams. MGU Kerala accepts national entrance exams such as CAT, KEAM, CPGET, and others.
