Well-trained faculty with good placements.

Placements: 75 percent of students were placed in our course. The highest package is 9 LPA. The lowest package is 4 LPA. Some of the companies are Wipro, Amazon, Capgemini, HCL, Accenture, etc. Some of our friends and seniors got internship opportunities in good startup companies.

Infrastructure: Our college is situated in a peaceful environment with good surroundings. College management provides good facilities. It has digital classrooms, Wi-Fi, and a library. They provide hostel facilities for boys and girls. Our college has a big ground to play sports and games.

Faculty: Our course curriculum is updated every year. This is very useful to us. Teachers are very helpful. They clear doubts by understandably providing PPTs and examples. The quality of teaching is good. Semester exams are moderate, but some subjects are a little bit difficult.

The college is good, but programs and events are fewer.

Placements: The placement is good. Many companies come for recruitment.

Infrastructure: The hostel is very good, and life is so good. The food is so good. There is non-veg food 6 days a week. Vending machines in our hostel. The behavior of the hostel warden is good. They behave so well. I like the hostel very much. There are many events in the hostel.

Faculty: Teachers are good. They support us in every curricular activity. Their behavior is so good. They treat us like their children. The semester exams are not that much tougher, so everyone can pass the exam and get good scores in internal marks. The course curriculum is relevant.

Other: College life is very limited. They should improve the events that are conducted on campus. They should make sure all the students are doing extracurricular activities. I would recommend it if you are ready to join a college with less campus life.

My honest opinion of St. Thomas College, Pala.

Placements: Placements had well-defined procedures. There was a big placement team that helped us prepare better for placements and grab a good job. A student who had studied decently throughout was guaranteed to get placed in a reputed company that provided the best profiles to selected candidates. Lots of companies visited the campus every year. The average package was around 7 LPA. McKinsey, BCG, Goldman Sachs, Deutsche Bank, ITC, Asian Paints, BNP Paribas, Lehman, and Google were among the top recruiters.

Infrastructure: There were separate hostels for boys and girls. Hostel rooms were shared as well as separate. The rooms were of average standard, with an uninterrupted supply of electricity and water and reasonable charges. The mess food was good and hygienic, with separate charges. The hostel was secured with guards.

Faculty: The course curriculum was very good. It included all aspects of management studies. It gave a perfect overview of business management and its environment. The exams happened every semester. The course curriculum was constantly updated by providing relevant courses in the fields of marketing, finance, operations, HR, and skill building. Faculty members were experienced. The majority of them had Ph.D. degrees and teaching experience. Most of the faculty members teaching in the college knew what they were doing. There were many experienced professors who were really inspiring to look up to. The course curriculum was updated according to the needs of the industries. The curriculum included case studies based on real situations of firms or industries and analyzing them. It also included the soft skills that a student basically needed.
