Yes, there are many successful women seafarers across Indian and foriegn countries as well. Maharashtra Academy of Naval Education and Training (MANET) offers courses specialised in Merchant Navy studies. The programmes are available in Marine Engineering and Nautical Science. For admission, candidates must have minimum 60% in Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Science subjects.

MIt Pune outperforms Dy Patil Akurdi in terms of placement, average package, and reputation.so Mit Pune is clearly the better option. Both universities are excellent for engineering students. Now coming to your question, as far as placement is concerned it totally depends on two main factors:Performance of Student in academicsDemand in IndustryYes it is true that reputation of College also plays a role in placement of a student. It helps in bringing top companies to the college. But if you have right skills and better hands-on then Placement into a good company is easy.MIT has good infra structure and also they have well setup labs. Students there are great and also you will find a well competitive environment. They Focus on all sectors equally. Whereas D.Y. Patil is also good in respect of academics.So I would suggest Try to focus on learning right skills and you will find yourself in a Good Company. Understand what you study and try to implement it. College is Just a medium. To sit into placements of Good Companies MIT would be better as compared to DY Patil

Here's the  Film and Video Design Course admission process at MIT-ADT:Appear for MITID DET exam, based on scores obtained from MITID DET, shortlisted candidates will be called for second phase.Studio Test and Personal Interview is conducted at MITID campus in Pune. The second phase of the admission procedure will consist of studio tests followed by personal interviews at Institute in Pune.The result of shortlisted candidates for the Second Phase will be announced on MITID website.The Admission Committee decides the procedures, grades and weightage every year.
