To submit the application form for MIT School of Film & Theatre admission, candidates need to obtain the form from the official website, fill it accurately, and either submit it by post or in person to the designated department. Additionally, candidates must pay the application and entrance test fee online and attach the payment slip along with the application form.

The four unique programmes offered by the MIT School of Film & Theatre provide a wide range of courses at the undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) levels. BA, BSc, and MSc are among them. The BSc programme in Film Making with a specialisation in Sound Recording & Designing at MIT-SFT focuses extensively on Sound Engineering, encompassing crucial aspects like designing, recording, and mixing of sound. MSc is a two-year course available in two specialisations, namely Clinical Psychology and Vedic Science and Applications. Candidates need to complete a UG degree with Psychology subjects as major or an equivalent degree from a recognised board with at least 50% aggregate to apply for MSc Clinical Psychology. For MSc Vedic Sciences, a UG degree with Science subjects from a recognised Indian or foreign institution or an equivalent board with a minimum of 50% aggregate is required for admission. The selection to any of the MSc course is based on merit in the last qualifying exam followed by an interview round. The school also considers the SOP written by the aspirants.

Bachelors’ degree in any discipline from a recognised Indian or foreign board or an equivalent degree is required to apply for MIT School of Vedic Sciences MA Sanskrit programme. For MA Psychology, aspirants need to complete a UG degree with Psychology subjects as major or an equivalent degree from a recognised board with at least 50% aggregate. Aspirants must hold the proof of eligibility to avoid rejection in the later stages of admission. Apart from the qualification, aspirants wishing to pursue MA Sanskrit need to qualify MIT SVS’ Sanskrit Language Proficiency (SLP) test with at least 70% aggregate. 

MITSICS studying in batch AY 2023-24 has not appeared for exams yet. Apart from this MIT has started the guidance centre for UPSC before establishing the School. Several students of MIT qualified for UPSC. Some of them are Shri Varun Kumar Baranwal (IAS), Rohan Botre (IPS), Madhuri Garud (IRS).

Candidates are required to pay the course fee after completion of all the selection rounds to confirm their seats. In case, a candidate is unable to pay the fee within the specified time, his or her admission will stand cancelled. Candidates will also require to pay a registration fee to apply for admission. Candidates can pay the application fee via any of the online payment modes.
