The application form for MITID DAT 2026 is currently OPEN.The last date to fill out the MITID DAT 2026 application form is February 28, 2026.Candidates have to fill the application form in online mode. A.The results of the MITID Design Aptitude Test (DAT) 2026 will be announced on April 23, 2026 (5 pm). The results were declared for all candidates who have appeared in all the stages of the MITID DAT exam. The MITID DAT exam has two stages - online written exam and Studio Test & Personal Interview. The candidate can check their results uising their log-in credentials.

Candidates are shortlisted for the Studio Test and Personal Interview based on their performance in the MIT DAT entrance test. The Studio Test and Personal Interview is the 2nd stage of the two-stage MITID DAT admission process. The 1st stage is the online written exam.

DAT examination includes computer-based MCQ (objective) test, subjective test and offline drawing test. Objective and Descriptive Test is a Computer Based Test. Where in Objective Test candidates have to choose the correct option, in Descriptive Test they have to write the correct answer in the text box. Drawing Exam is an Offline Test. For this section candidates are provided A4 size drawing sheets to draw using Pens / Pencils / Colours etc. After the exam is over, the answer sheets are collected, scanned and uploaded for evaluation at the test centre.

No, you will not be considered if you do not meet MITID criteria. Candidate must meet cutoff criteria in their categories to get admission in MITID DAT 2026. If they fail to meet the cut-off, he or she will not be considered for admission. 

The Design Entrance Test (DET) 2026 exam for admission to the B.Des and M.Des courses at the MIT Institute of Design will be conducted on April 05, 2026.The entrance exam included a Design Aptitude Test and is the 1st stage of the two-stage admission process. Candidates who qualified in the DAT exam had to next appear in a Studio Test & Personal Interview.

MITID DAT 2026 application fee for Indian candidates is INR 3000. Candidates belonging to NRI, CIO, PIO, and Foreign national categories need to pay INR 4500. The last date to fill out the application form is February 28, 2026. The applications are open for all the programmes.

MITID DAT 2026 application form is open in online mode. Applications submitted in offline mode will not be accepted. As part of the application process, the candidate will have to get registered, fill in all the details, upload documents, and pay the application fee.
