Supportive faculty, decent campus life, and good overall experience.
Placements: I was part of the B.A. 2021-2024 batch. Around 65% of students were placed. The highest package offered was 6 LPA, the lowest 2 LPA, and the average is 3.2 LPA. Top recruiters included Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Deloitte, and Byju's. About 70% of students got internships in NGOs, HDFC, media houses, and content firms. Common roles offered were content writers, HR associate, customer support, and marketing intern. Overall, the college offers good opportunities if you stay active and make use of available resources like seminars, internships, and placement drives.
Infrastructure: The college offers good infrastructure for B.A. students with well-maintained classrooms, high-speed Wi-Fi, a decent library with relevant books, and projectors in some rooms. The hostel is average with basic amenities and regular cleaning. Mess food is manageable, with a mix of North and South Indian dishes; the canteen offers a better variety. Medical facilities include a first-aid room and a tie-up with a nearby hospital. Sports facilities include a playground, indoor games, and an annual sports meet. Overall, the campus is student-friendly, and while some areas need improvement, the environment is comfortable for study and growth.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. Most of them used interactive teaching methods and were approachable for doubts and guidance. The course curriculum is relevant and covers core subjects, but industry exposure depends on the student's initiative. Guest lectures and workshops help bridge the gap. Semester exams are moderately difficult; regular study is enough to pass. The pass percentage is around 85- 90%, and internal assessment helps improve grades. Overall, the teaching quality is good, and the course builds a solid foundation, though more practical exposure would make students more industry-ready.
Other: I chose this B.A. course because of my interest in the humanities and to build a strong foundation for civil services and higher studies. The best parts of the course are the flexible subject choices, supportive faculty, and opportunities to explore different fields like psychology, literature, or political Science. I wish there were more industry visits, practical sessions, and career-oriented workshops. The campus crowd is diverse and friendly. Fests and cultural events are lively and well-organized. The college has decent connectivity and peaceful surroundings. Scholarships are available based on merit. Extracurricular activities like debate, drama, and sports are encouraged and well-managed.
