Review of College Of Agriculture, Dhule, Mahatma Phule Krushi Vidyapeeth, Rahuri.

Placements: The college has a placement cell but there is no placement guarantee. The cell isn't functional. Only some professors care about their own references. You need to look for your own placements. Rs. 10,000- Rs. 15,000 salary you can expect at the beginning in the private sector.

Infrastructure: Old infrastructure, no advancements, and the new hostel is under construction. The old one is sealed. No Wi-Fi is available in hostels. Classrooms are average. The college has a large playground but no basketball court or any specific sport. The mess is not functional. Library is average.

Faculty: Faculty members are fair (average). Exams are strict, the curriculum gives you good awareness of Agriculture and its allied fields. Exams are strict and no cheating is allowed. Some faculty support you very much in academic as well as extracurricular activities and will also help you in guiding your future exams, and some will not.

Other: This college is good if you're genuinely interested in learning Agriculture. Plenty of field experiences are available. It has a KVK which gives good exposure to new knowledge and farmers. It can help in securing jobs in the agricultural sector, including government jobs too.

Not so good but not that bad also.

Placements: There are no placement facilities available at our college. Zero seniors were placed from this college, and no batchmates will get placed. There is neither the highest nor the lowest placement here; mostly, students prepare for exams like MPSC or CAT, or some people get into marketing companies on their own, not because of the college.

Infrastructure: Not very good facilities in the hostel and college, just average. There is no proper availability of filters, mess, or canteen. The facilities available at the mess are poor; the mess isn't hygienic and the quality of food is low. There is no Wi-Fi at college or hostel.

Faculty: I can say that the teachers here are very great. They teach everything with all their efforts. Various practicals are done, and even exams are conducted in a serious way. No cheating is allowed. Many students mostly pass in this semester's exams, but many also fail.

Other: I guess we can focus on some other things like freelancing or other part-time jobs while doing this course. This course isn't that difficult, so we can even prepare for government exams simultaneously.

Not satisfied with placement, but the facilities are good.

Placements: Placement is not available at my college. Passing is very easy, but the syllabus is very vast. In my course, the college is not curious, nor is it good for all students and average students, but it is good for only competitive exam preparation students, meaning that students are given a role in the agricultural field for work on plant species.

Infrastructure: About facilities, the college gives only a library, a forum, and a classroom. About sports, the teacher is very caring for the students. He organizes an agro cup in our college, but the facilities are not available for all students. Many students are placed outside of the boys' hostel in a room.

Faculty: The faculty is really good. The syllabus is very vast. Exams are very strict. The semester and exam are very tough, but in the 6th semester, the Dean committee exam clearance is very easy, and also easy for average students. In that case, faculty members are very good. They complete our syllabus in a specific time.

Other: Scholarships are available for all castes. Mess is not available.

Average type of course and college.

Placements: 40% of students come to our college from giving the M.Sc. (IT) exam. There are no placement inputs; college Nirmal SEED sometimes gives job offers, but not much. Most students go into sales and marketing, and most of the students open Kushseva Kendra. There is 40% placement.

Infrastructure: No facility and poor infrastructure. No hostel is available for first-year students because the hostels are broken. There is a canteen available, and sports are available, but no teacher for sports. One hospital is also closed all the time. No games available and no proper gym in college. No facility in college, only exams.

Faculty: Helpful teachers and quality knowledge, good teaching quality. No industry, only theoretical knowledge is provided to students. Many students fail in semester-end exams due to a lack of proper knowledge and notes. Students have to do self-study. Most students do a one-day study before the exam.

Other: I love agriculture, that's why I chose this course. Senior and junior bonding. Only events, only exams, only ragging.

College is average with good facilities and infrastructure.

Placements: The intake capacity of the college is 120 students. I don't know about the highest or the lowest package offered. The college did not offer many placements, as most students opt for higher education, competitive exams, or building businesses of their own. The course is best as several paths remain open to students, such as civil services, business, government jobs, finance, etc.

Infrastructure: Facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms with smart panels, step halls, and libraries are all available. I don't live in the college hostel, but it has good facilities, including a gym, mess, medical facilities, sports, and games. It has 50 floors with the best facilities.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and teach well. The course is curriculum-relevant, and in the 4th year, the college arranges a RAVE program for students, which is so interesting and gives hands-on training to students, making them industry-ready. Semester exams are not very difficult; you just need basic knowledge and statistical data for some subjects. The passing criteria are easy, and the passing percentage is 50%.

Other: I chose this course on my own. It is very nice to build a career in agriculture as an agripreneur. The college also arranges fests, events, and other activities for students. Scholarships are provided to every student in the college.

Placements: Around 62.5 percent of students are placed in 2024 (137 out of 219). The highest package: up to ₹10 LPA (B.Tech Food Teach). Average: around ₹5 LPA (B.Tech Food Teach) and ₹3 LPA (B.Sc. B.Tech Biotech). Top recruiters include Accenture, various agribusiness companies, government agencies, and agri-teach startups.

Infrastructure: All facilities are available, including Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library, sports grounds, research institute, KVK, Centre of Excellence Dairy, gym, swimming pool, basketball ground, kabbadi ground, fields for practical knowledge, ambulance, and medical facilities on campus.

Faculty: Many teachers are qualified and Ph.D. holders. The passing percentage is 50 percent. Semester exams are not difficult, they are very easy. Students are ready for going to the industry. Teaching quality is very good. Teachers are supportive and help students with research, implementing ideas, etc.

Other: Field work, scholarships, events like cultural days, and motivational events are organized.
