Nalanda University is a government University or a public central university. It is located in Nalanda district's Rajgir in the state of Bihar, India. It was established by an Act of the Indian Parliament in 2010 and is designated as an Institute of National Importance and excellence. The university is supported by 18 member countries and was established to emulate the ancient university of Nalanda, which functioned between the 5th and 13th centuries. The President of India serves as Visitor to the university. Therefore, Nalanda University is a government university and not a private university.

Eligibility Criteria: Candidate should have a graduation degree from a recognised university with 55 percentage or 2.2/4.0 GPA or equivalent GPA Proof of English proficiency is required for students coming from non English speaking medium: TOEFL/IELTS or any other standard certification in English. The candidate having full-time degree-level course, entirely taught and assessed in English need not submit any certificate.

For Working Executives-  Minimum 5 years of working experience.

No Objection Certificate is required from employer for working executives/sponsored candidates/ candidates on sabbatical/candidates recommended by PSUs/GOI Departments.

CAT/XAT/MAT score will not be applicable.
