The seat allotment process for the BDes admissions at PDM University is primarily merit-based, considering the applicants' performance in the qualifying examination. Soon after, the result is declared, and appropriate candidates will be shortlisted based on their scores, followed by the preparation of the respective merit list. Those whose names appear on the merit list will be intimated by the university to confirm their admission by paying the necessary fees. Application candidates should do so immediately after the declaration of results at Class 12 level. The seats available in an institute at a given time would be subject to change; therefore, updates about an admission schedule and seat availability should always be sought.

As of now, there is no official information available on PDM University's seat reservation policy. • Proof of Residence Certificate i.e copy of Aadhar Card /Ration Card / Election Voting Card /Driving License etc.
• SC/BC Certificate (if applicable)
