It has great teachers and an excellent campus.
Placements: The college placement cell provides internships for every course. Around 20-40% of students get direct internships and placements. As far as this course is concerned, most students pursue higher studies like a master's. Self-applied internships are seen in psychology more than in college placements.
Infrastructure: Food quality is satisfactory. Speed of Wi-Fi is moderately good. The library service is excellent, and labs are good as well. There are strict in-and-out timings in the hostel. Wardens are friendly if we talk and interact.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and pay attention as much as they can. They are strict with attendance. Exposure to real-life situations is provided by the teachers during practicals. Fun learning involvement is mandatory from every student. Exams are moderately strict. Faculty and staff members are very friendly.

Good Infrastructure, faculty, and fests.
Placements: Almost 70 percent are placed, and the rest move forward to continue their further studies in M.Tech, MBA, or MS in foreign countries. Top companies do not visit this college. Only medium companies with packages of 4 -7 LPA are seen in placements.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are good, but there is no air conditioning, neither in the labs nor in the classrooms. The hostel and food are good. The girls' hostel is 5 mins from college, but the boys' hostel is 50 mins away, and no direct means of transport available. Canteen food is not so good (taste-wise).
Faculty: The faculty is good, and their experience is also good. Most teachers have done their M.Tech, and some are pursuing their Ph.D. The course curriculum is also good. It does not make the student industry-ready, it just provides the basic knowledge of the real work field.
Other: Pillai College is highly known for its events and famous for its fest, like Alegria festival of joy, which happens every year in the month of february but this fest is of high cost for each and everyone.

Overall a good college according to curriculum, placements and infrastructure.
Placements: Placement of the college is overall good. Talking about the average packages, they come around 3-4 LPA. There are not many core companies on campus for the electronics and telecommunications branch. The college hosts a job and internship fair in which students can actively participate and grab opportunities.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are big and have good ventilation. Labs contain all the components required for the experiments. Some components are old and do not work properly, but the teachers and lab assistants are always helpful. There is a Wi-Fi connection in all the labs. There is a big turf in the college for playing along with a basketball court. There is also one gym on the college campus. The hostel is overall good, but the mess food is bad sometimes.
Faculty: Teachers are always helpful for solving doubts. The course is taught in such a manner that every student can pass easily. There are very few students who fail because they do not study at all. The college conducts various workshops and seminars to make us understand the industry work.
Other: Pillai is known for its annual Alegria event. The college has a very different vibe at the festival. There are many events conducted in the college by the student council. Everybody is so supportive.

Absolutely satisfied with the college curriculum, facilities, and interior.
Placements: It is overall a good college for pursuing engineering. If we talk about placements, then it gives an average package of 7 LPA, and almost 80% of students are placed. The lowest package is of 3 LPA, and the placement season begins from the 3rd year, and most of the students are placed in the 4th year.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi at Pillai College is not good, and students face difficulties in such cases. It is advisable to use our own internet for academic use. The library is huge, and all the required resources are available, but there is a lot of noise there, and it is almost impossible to concentrate.
Faculty: Teachers are very professional and the best. They have deep knowledge about the subjects. The course curriculum is appropriate and helpful for future use and job exposure. It makes students ready for the industry, 50% rest depends on the students themselves.
Other: Best College you can choose this one.

Review of Pillai College of Engineering.
Placements: Pillai College of Engineering has an active and steadily improving placement cell. The college conducts regular training sessions on aptitude, coding, and soft skills. Top recruiters include TCS, Capgemini, LTI, Accenture, Cognizant, and Tech Mahindra. Several mid-scale tech companies and startups also visit during the placement season. Most placements are IT-oriented, even for non-IT branches like mechanical or EXTC. The average package ranges from 3.5-5 LPA. High performers secure packages of 6-10 LPA with roles from better companies. A few exceptional students get 12 LPA+ from product-based companies.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure at Pillai College of Engineering is modern and student-friendly. Classrooms are spacious, and well-ventilated. They are equipped with digital projectors. There are labs for all branches, especially IT, CSE, and ENTC. These are updated with good systems. ENTC labs have proper equipment for electronics, embedded, and communication subjects. Wi-Fi connectivity is available across the campus with decent speed. The library is large, with good seating and a wide collection of technical books. There is access to e-resources and a peaceful study environment. The campus has clean corridors, lifts, and well-maintained washrooms. Common areas, seminar halls, and auditoriums are modern and frequently used for events.
Faculty: Faculty members at Pillai College of Engineering are experienced and approachable. Most professors explain concepts well, especially in core subjects. Some teachers are strict about attendance. It helps maintain discipline. Doubt-solving sessions are regularly conducted for difficult topics. Faculty encourages students to take part in workshops and technical events. The course curriculum follows Mumbai University guidelines and includes extracurricular activities. The syllabus is updated with industry-relevant subjects like coding, communication, and labs. For ENTC and IT-related branches, practical exposure is given priority. Assignments and lab journals are part of continuous evaluation. Mini-projects and presentations help students understand real-world applications. Exams are conducted strictly and on time with proper supervision.
Other: Pillai College of Engineering has a very active and vibrant campus life. Multiple events run throughout the year. It keeps students engaged. Alegria is one of the biggest cultural fests in Navi Mumbai. This is a major highlight. Technical fests like TechClash and Project Exhibitions showcase student innovation. Departments conduct workshops, coding contests, and hackathons regularly. Sports festivals include football leagues, cricket tournaments, and indoor games. The campus atmosphere becomes energetic during the fest season. Students from all branches collaborate to organize committees. Celebrity performances and concerts attract a large crowd. Inter-college competitions give exposure beyond academics. There are many clubs, like coding, robotics, dance, music, and drama.

Good infrastructure and supportive faculty.
Placements: 70 percent of students got placed. The highest package is around 8 LPA, the lowest is around 2.5 LPA, and the average is around 4 LPA-5 LPA. Top recruiting includes TCS, Citrus Tech, and a few core electronics companies. Around 60-70 percent of students received internships in TCS, Reliance, etc.
Infrastructure: Our department is well-equipped with modern facilities. The college provides high-speed Wi-Fi. The library is large and has a wide collection of textbooks, reference books, and e-resources related to the field. In our college, events are really nice and many actors are coming to Alegria.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable in their field. Students do not understand the subject they teach us again later. The semester exams are moderately difficult, they test both conceptual understanding and practical knowledge.
Other: I chose this field because I'm interested in EXTC field.
