Poornima University MCA Eligibility & Highlights 2025

MCA is a two-year course divided into six semesters. Poornima University offers MCA in four specialisations at the PG level through the Faculty of Computer Science Engineering. Candidates after completing graduation can apply for the MCA course. Admission to the course is purely based on merit in the last qualifying exam.

Poornima University: Best college for placements and learning.

Placements: College provides lots of placement opportunities. In the year, lots of companies visit for campus drives. There is approximately a 50-60% placement percentage. The lowest packages depend on the company, they vary from 2.5 to 3.5 LPA, and the highest packages go up to 12-15 LPA. Many good companies come for placement, like Infosys, Josh, Datansh, Metacube, TCS, Dotsquare, and CIMET.

Infrastructure: The campus covers 32 acres and features cutting-edge ICT-enabled classrooms with Wi-Fi, LAN, and projectors. Seminar halls, auditoriums, and multimedia-equipped lecture rooms support conferences, workshops, and cultural events. The central library offers over 2400 volumes, a wide range of journals, and access to IEEE, DELNET, and other digital resources for engineering, management, architecture, and IT programs. Hostels are located on campus with secure access, providing accommodation for both boys and girls, including Himalaya Boys and Gargi Girls hostels. Hostel messes serve four daily meals under hygienic standards, alongside canteens offering vegetarian snacks.

Faculty: The university has more than 800 staff and faculty, including experienced professors. Faculty members are qualified, approachable, and help students inside and outside classes. Names and contact details of heads of departments are public and can be found on official university documents and the website. The curriculum is regularly updated, includes practical skills, the latest technology, and is made as per industry standards to help students’ careers. Syllabus and course structures for all departments are openly available on the university website.

Good College with Spacious Facilities

Placements: About 100% of students were placed last year. Top roles offered in my course include positions at Tata Consultancy Services, Capgemini, Teach World, Accenture, and many other companies. The highest package is about ₹30 LPA, and the average package is about ₹3 LPA.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available in my course/department are very good. Classes are spacious, and labs are well-conditioned with air conditioning. The quality of the facilities in the hostel is reasonable, and the food is satisfactory.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good, and the course curriculum is relevant. The difficulty of exams is normal, and the pass percentage criterion in my college is about 40%. Overall, it is a wonderful experience.

It is the best university in Jaipur.

Placements: Almost 90% of students got placed on campus. The average salary package offered was 5 LPA. The highest salary package offered was 10 LPA. The top recruiting companies are TCS and Wipro. This college is very good in terms of placements in Rajasthan. Top roles offered are HR, associate engineer, etc.

Infrastructure: Hostels are better in this college. Mess is also very good. Wi-Fi is also available. The food served in the mess is fine. Canteen is also good. Gym facility is available. It also provides a decent library. Our campus surroundings are very good which is a plus point to this college in comparison to others.

Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful and well-qualified. The way of teaching is also very good. They have at least a master's degree. All have a good sense of humor. They are always ready to help students. Faculty members are also friendly with students.

It is an amazing college for a better future and placements.

Placements: There are a lot of of placements. Everyone can make his career with Poornima University. Atleast 350-400 companies came for placements, so the placement rate is higher. I highly recommend this college for campus placements. B.Tech and MCA placements are great.

Infrastructure: There are boys' and girls' hostels with gym facilities and great food. A basketball ground, football and rugby, volleyball, cricket, and tennis ground are available. A 2-floor library is also available here. There are 1,000+ students, and many students are in the college hostel.

Faculty: The teachers are kind and helpful, and exams are held every month. After admission, students are happy with the college. There are many programs and experienced teachers. Students are satisfied with the teachers and exam schedule. Many students made their future with this university.

Other: It is a good campus with many cultural functions, and the college organizes many programs that can help our future.
