Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University offers admission to BPA, BFA, MPA, some of the diploma, MA and certificate courses based on PSTUCET. It is an entrance exam conducted by the university for selecting candidates for admission. Once selected, aspirants have to report at the campus for document verification and fee payment to confirm their seat.

Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University offers admission to most of the programmes based on PSTUCET conducted by the university. For a few programmes, the selection is based on merit of the candidates in the last qualifying exam. Hello Nishar Ahmed, Potti Sreeramulu University was formed in 1985, but not with this name. This came about after some years. It's located in Hyderabad now the capital of Telangana and erstwhile capital of complete Andhra Pradesh. It was basically formed with the intention and aim of serving Telugu speaking people not only in India but outside India also and hence it has a distance learning faculty also. It was fundamentally and instrumentality of the state for promotion of Telugu language literature history culture visual and performing arts etc. meaning it dealt in basically of field of liberal arts and literature. The university obtained the present name only in the year 1998. It offers various courses right from certificate to undergraduate to post graduate and even doctoral thesis but all related in this area of liberal arts. 

     As a result of this avowed aim, the courses that it offers are not available to the modern industry and hence the placements of students is not what we see in different colleges offering professional courses. Unfortunately there is no data available us to which companies or recruiters come to this university for blessing students in their industry or organisation. In majority of the cases students have to find their own way to get a job after passing out from this university.

The University is not that costly. The course fee is also not very high. The most higher fees is of the course BFA in Sculpture and Painting which is INR 13.2K whereas, the cheapest is INR 700. Average goes up around INR 5000.

Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University usually conducts PSTUCET in the first week of October. Candidates applying for a course accepting PSTUCET have to appear for the same for admission. PSTUCET is conducted separately for each programme at different time. Once the PSTUCET results are out, candidates are informed about their selection.

Aspirants applying for a UG, PG, diploma or a certificate course at PSTU Hyderabad have to pay an application fee of INR 600. Candidates have to pay an application fee via any of the online payment modes. Once the candidate pays the fee, he or she must keep the fee receipt with them for future reference. Aspirants must also not the transaction id and reference number for login in future.

PSTU offers one-year PG Diploma courses. Mere qualifying the Class 12 wont get admission in the course. For PG diploma, aspirants need to pass any of the UG degree. Candidates also need to pass PSTUCET for admission to some of the PG diploma programmes for admission. 

Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University selects candidates for PG Diploma in Yoga based on PSTUCET score. PSTUCET is conducted by the university for admission to various courses. For other PG Diploma courses, the university may considers the marks of the candidates in the last qualifying exam for admission. 

PSTU or Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University application forms are released in June-July. Candidates have to apply online only if the fulfil the eligibility requirements. Below are the steps to apply for PSTU admission:

Step 3: Pay an application fee of INR 600 and click on 'Proceed to verify and fill application form online if you have already paid'.

Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University offers courses at UG, PG, diploma and certificate levels. Candidates can apply for UG courses after completing their Class 12 whereas, graduation is required to apply for a PG course.
