As a matter of fact all Medical colleges in India respective of the category to which they belong like government medical colleges, private medical colleges, Medical College of the armed forces, medical colleges of the deemed to be universities or even private universities, these all are mandated by law to give admission in their medical colleges exclusively on the basis of score obtained in nationality exam called NEET. No concession in whatever format is granted to any medical college in the country to give admission without NEET score. Even the management quota seats have to be filled up exclusively on the merit obtained by student in this entrance exam. To get admission to Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences, candidates are required to complete the criteria set by the college. The following is the admissions procedure for many courses the college offers. For MBBS, candidates are required to apply for NEET UG conducted by NTA. Admission will be based on the qualifying marks obtained in NEET UG and counselling. For MD/MS programmes, admission will be based on the qualifying marks obtained in NEET PG and counseeling. Further, for Phd and others courses, college conduct AICTE entrance exam for admission. So to grab the seat candidates are required to follow the complete admission procedure.

For MBBS and BDS programme at PIMS Ahmednagar, candidates must fulfill the specific eligibility criteria which are mentioned below:

• First of all, applicants must be Indian National
• Age Limit: Minimum 17 Years
• Passed Class 12 (or equivalent) exam with the subject Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English
• Geneal Category: Passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum 50% aggreagte in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together in Class 12 ( or equivalent) exam.
• SC/ST Category: Passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum 40% aggreagte in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together at the HSC (or equivalent) exam.
• Must obtained 50% aggreagte score in NEET conducted by NTA.

Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) will announce the official cutoffs for admission to the MBBS programme for the year 2023 once the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) results are declared, typically in July or August. The cutoffs will be available on the PIMS website.

Applicants can refer to the cutoffs for previous years to get an idea of the general range of scores required for admission. These cutoffs are also accessible on the PIMS website.

Meeting the cutoff requirement does not guarantee admission. The final selection of candidates is based on a combination of NEET score, candidate category (general, OBC, SC, ST), and domicile (Maharashtra or other states).

Admission to all Undergraduate and postgraduate courses will be done on the basis of performance in the All India Entrance Test conducted by PIMS University. The Admission office of PIMS is responsible for conducting the entrance test, declaration of results and merit list, counselling and final admission confirmation to the Nursing programmes.
