PRSU BA Courses & Fees 2025: Eligibility, Seats, Placements, Admission Dates

Candidates who get admission to the BA programme offered at Pandit Ravishankar Shukla University must pay the PRSU BA fees depending upon the institution selected by candidates. Candidates who have passed the Class 12 or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% aggregate from a recognised board can apply for admission to the PRSU BA course.

Pandit Ravishankar Shukla University accepts applications for BA admission via both online and offline modes. For an offline application, candidates can visit the university campus to collect the application form. Step 3: Pay the PRSU BA application fee of INR 400 through credit card/ debit card/ net banking.

Pandit Ravi Shankar University Raipur offers good placements to the students. The median package for UG (3-year) and BPharma courses stood at INR 2.40 LPA and INR 2.50 LPA, respectively. The median package for PG (1-year) and PG (2-year) courses, stood at INR 2.04 LPA and INR 2.45 LPA, respectively.

During 2023 placements, the median package for BPharma and UG (3-year) courses stood at INR 2.50 LPA and INR 2.40 LPA, respectively. Further, the median package offered to PG (2-year) students was INR 2.45 LPA. Looking at the past three years' statistics, a fluctuating trend was observed in the BPharma and PG (2-year) median packages. On the other hand, year-on-year growth was recorded in the median package of UG (3-year) courses. Direct admission is not available for BA courses at PRSU. However, candidates can get admission into BA courses based on their Class 12 scores. The basic eligibility criteria required by the university to get admission to BA courses is candidates must complete their higher senior secondary with at least an aggregate of 50%. The university evaluated the applicants' HSC scores and released the merit list, if candidates' names appear in the merit list they can get a seat in the program after paying an adequate amount of course fees. 

PRSU admits student on merit basis. For most UG courses and all PG Diploma courses, the university accepts scores of last qualifying examination. PRSU course admission is both merit and entrance-based. Candidates seeking for admission to any of the UG/ PG courses at PRSU needs to go through all the steps of admission process. Below mentioned are the step-wise process for PRSU admission 2025:

1. Application Process: PRSU application process is conducted in both online and offline modes. In order to apply for the course of their choice, candidates have to fill an application form either in-person at the admission office of PRSU or online on the official website. 
2. Selection Rounds: PRSU admissions is both merit and entrance-based. Admission to most of the UG courses is merit-based, whereas the admission to PG and Integrated courses are offered through the respective national/ in-house entrance exams. Following the selection process, candidates have to appear for PI rounds for some courses.
3. Counselling Process: After the completion of all selection rounds, the university will conduct counselling process for the final seat allotment.
4. Merit List Release: In the final step, round-wise merit list of the selected candidates will be released on the official website of PRSU.

Currently, the university has concluded its admission for the academic batch 2024. Further, as more than 100 colleges & institutions are affiliated with the university so, the admission dates for each institution can vary. However Pt. Ravi Shankar Shukla University will soon release the admission dates for the 2025 batch of BA courses. It is suggested that candidates frequently visit the university's official website to be updated.

Pandit Ravi Shankar Shukla University Raipur admisison is based on merit and entrance exams. The university accepts national entrance exams such as CAT, MAT, XAT, ATMA, and others.
