Pandit Ravi Shankar University Raipur is one of the esteemed university which was established in 1964. The institute is accredited with A Grade by NAAC and approved by the AICTE. PRSU University, through its 29 teaching departments or schools of study and around 150 affiliated colleges, offers PG, UG, PG diploma, certificate, diploma, doctoral, and post-doctoral courses to students across Management, Science, Arts, Law, Commerce, and other streams. For most UG courses, PRSU allows students to take admission on merit basis without an entrance exam. The university accepts Class 12 scores for the same. However for certain UG courses and all PG courses, the university conducts entrance exams and students must appear for the same. Candidates shall first check the eligibility requirements. Admission to BPEd course at PRSU is completely merit-based. During 2023 placements, the median package for BPharma and UG (3-year) courses stood at INR 2.50 LPA and INR 2.40 LPA, respectively. Further, the median package offered to PG (2-year) students was INR 2.45 LPA. Looking at the past three years' statistics, a fluctuating trend was observed in the BPharma and PG (2-year) median packages. Further, as more than 100 colleges & institutions are affiliated with the university so, the admission dates for each institution can vary. However Pt. Step 1: Application Process

Candidates have to fill out an application form. The University accepts applications via both online and offline modes. For an offline application, candidates can visit the university campus and, to register online, candidates have to visit the official website of the university, click on the registration, download the form, fill out the application form, upload the documents, pay the application fee of INR 400 through online mode and, submit the application form.

Step 2: Selection Rounds

Candidates must submit the scores of the Class 12 exams based on which, the merit list are declared.

Step 3: Counselling Process and Release of Merit List

PRSU will conduct the counselling process for the selected candidates. Later on, round-wise merit lists are released for selected candidates who must pay the PRSU BCom fees which range between INR 13,800 and INR 1.3 lakh depending upon the institution.

Candidates seeking admission to BA courses at PRSU must complete their Class 12 from a recognised board of education, such as CBSE, CGBSE, BSEB, and equivalent. Additionally, candidates must secure at least 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for reserved categories). This is the basic eligibility requirement that each aspirant must fulfil. Furthermore, to get selected in the course candidates should qualify for the merit list that will be released according to candidates' higher senior secondary scores.
