A placement cell at NSHM Business School, Durgapur assists with placement activities and plans different training sessions for students. Nonetheless, a few students were chosen after Orient Gems & Tournaments Pvt. Ltd. held a placement drive at the Department of CIS in 2022. Furthermore, they don't offer any internships. Thus, it appears that NSHM Business School in Durgapur provides better placements than Raiganj University, based on the information that is currently available.

Raiganj University offers various courses. The BA (Hons.) in Sanskrit has a rating of 4.8 out of 5. Therefore, this might be the best courses that is offered by the Raiganj University. This course is offered for a duration of 3 years, for a total tuition fee of Rs. 12,120. The students are also required to pay a hostel fee of 4,700 apart from the tuition fee.a total number of 147 seats are offered for this course. Students must have passed a minimum of 60% in English\Sanskirt from any recognised boards. If the candidates don't qualify for this criteria, then he should atleast get 55% in the relevant subjects in the 10th and 12th examinations if he/she wants to do honors.

The BSc course has a total of six semesters and is offered across multiple specialisations  Microbiology, Zoolog, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Geography, Botany, Statistics, Applied and Analytical Economics are few of the specialisations offered under Raiganj University. 

To secure admission to the Raiganj University BSc course candidates must have a valid qualification, i.e.: Class 12 with a minimum 50% aggregate and have scored at least 60% marks in the subject in which honors is intend. Eligible candidates must apply for the BSc course. Raiganj University BSc application process is conducted in online mode. Once the application form are submitted candidates are shortlisted based on candidates' scores in the last qualifying exam. he merit lists are released in multiple rounds. Candidates must visit the official website to download the merit lists. The university shortlists candidates based on the merit lists. The merit list for self-financing courses is prepared separately. Once a student’s name appears in the BSc merit list, payment is required to be made as per the schedule published by the University. 

In all the courses, 80% of seats are reserved for Raiganj University passed out students and 20% of seats are offered to students from other universities.
