Q: What is the selection process for MBA and what is the minimum CMAT percentile required?

The CMAT is a national-level test used to get admission to AICTE-approved MBA programs. CMAT cut offs for premier universities are often in the 95-99 percentile. A good CMAT 2024 score might be between 250 and 350 out of 400.
Students who score less than 250, or 70 percentile, are ineligible to apply to top MBA programs that accept CMAT results. They can, however, apply to selected institutes that accept low CMAT scores/percentiles.
The MBA selection process involves the following steps:

Q: What is the qualification required to apply at RAJUVAS?

Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences considers the merit of the candidates in the qualifying exam along with entrance test for admission. The basic eligibility is Class 12 for UG and graduation for PG programmes. Below is course-wise eligibility criteria for RAJUVAS:

MVSc	BVSc and AH degree with not less than 6 out of 10 or equivalent CGPA percentage (60%) The aggregate required for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates is 55%
PhD	Master's degree in respective/ related subjects with 6.5 out of 10 CGPA or equivalent percentage (6 out of 10 CGPA for SC/ ST/ OBC/ SBC category)
Diploma	Class 12 or equivalent with optional subjects such as PCB or Agriculture Stream Subjects

Q: What are the various courses offered at RAJUVAS?

Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal offers courses at UG, PG and doctoral levels via constituent colleges. The programmes includes BVSc, MVSc, PhD and Diploma in Animal Husbandry. Admission to UG courses is based on NEET score whereas, ICAR AIEEA (PG) is considered for PG programmes. The selection for PhD is based on ICAR AICE-JRF/ SRF scores.

Placements: Around 70-80% of students will be placed in various dairy farms. The package is very good; it will be around 1 or 1.5 lakhs and may decrease depending on your financial conditions. Companies in Sikar, like Lotus, have 100% internship placement in the government animal hospital of Sikar, and various camps will be held in nearby villages. The top roles include animal treatment, helping farmers, and providing healthy feed to our animals.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are fully digital, with a library available for study. For news and other study-related information, computer labs and Wi-Fi are accessible. The hostel has medium-sized rooms where two students can comfortably stay. Both AC and cooler are available. Mess timings vary for each class, and nutritious, healthy food is provided. In the evenings, sports like badminton, cricket, and volleyball are available for recreation.

Faculty: The teaching quality is very good. All teachers are very experienced and knowledgeable. They will help you every time. Various practicals will be performed by teachers. RAJUVAS applications begins with the opening of NEET registration. Candidates are required to pass NEET for admission in the BVSc programme. The applications for NEET are released in February every year and continues till March. The exam is usually held in May every year.
