Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal offers courses at UG, PG and doctoral levels via constituent colleges. The programmes includes BVSc, MVSc, PhD and Diploma in Animal Husbandry. Admission to UG courses is based on NEET score whereas, ICAR AIEEA (PG) is considered for PG programmes. The selection for PhD is based on ICAR AICE-JRF/ SRF scores.
Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal reserves some seats for SC, ST, OBC, EWS, PwD candidates. The reservation is offered only to candidates have a caste or any valid certificate. Below is reservation criteria at RAJUVAS:

Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences considers the merit of the candidates in the qualifying exam along with entrance test for admission. The basic eligibility is Class 12 for UG and graduation for PG programmes. Below is course-wise eligibility criteria for RAJUVAS:

Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences selects candidates for BVSc based on NEET-UG scores. ICAR AIEEA and ICAR AICE-JRF/ SRF scores are required for PG and PhD programmes, respectively. The selection for Diploma is based on merit of the candidates in the last qualifying exam. Selected candidates have to register for university counselling for seat allotment. Aspirants who are alloted seat need to pay a fee to confirm their seat in the university.
Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal selects candidates for Diploma programme based on their merit in the last qualifying exam. Aspirants must pass Class 12 or equivalent with optional subjects such as PCB or Agriculture Stream Subjects for admission to Diploma programme. Once selected, aspirants need to pay the course fee to confirm their seat in the university.

Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal considers national-level entrance exams for admission to UG, PG and PhD courses. Aspirants qualify the entrance exam are then required to register for counselling. Below is course-wise accepted entrance exam at RAJUVAS:

Aspirants applying at RAJUVAS must be 17 years old as on the December 31 of the year of admission. The maximum age limit prescribed is 28 years as on December 31 of the year of admission. There is a five years relaxation of upper age limit in case of boys of SC, ST, OBC & SBC and girls of general category and 10 years for Girls of SC, ST, OBC &SBC categories.
Rajasthan University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences does not offer direct admission. However, candidates applying for MVSc are exempted from appearing for a test if they fall under any of the below categories:
- Seats reserved under ICAR nominee.
- Candidates who have nominated by ICAR/foreign nationals sponsored by ICAR/GOI
- Field extension functionaries deputed by Government of Rajasthan
- In-service candidates of RAJUVAS and/ or considered as 'in-service of the university' by the university. However, they will be required to fulfil academic qualifications
Admission to all the courses is entrance-based except diploma. Aspirants applying for Diploma have to fulfil the academic requirements for admission.
Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences releases the application form for PG and PhD courses in December-January every year. For UG courses, the university releases the notification in March every year. Aspirants have to visit the official website of RAJUVAS for admission.
RAJUVAS seat intake varies course-wise. Candidates belonging to SC, ST and other resserved categories can also apply for reservation. Below is course-wise intake at RAJUVAS:

RAJUVAS applications begins with the opening of NEET registration. Candidates are required to pass NEET for admission in the BVSc programme. The applications for NEET are released in February every year and continues till March. The exam is usually held in May every year.
