| M.A. | Candidate must have passed Shastri/Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with Sanskrit subject from a recognized Institute/ University. Domain specific knowledge in Sanskrit medium only. |
| B.A. | Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized school/board. |
| B.Ed | Candidate must have completed M.A. (Sanskrit) or equivalent traditional degree with 50% marks or equivalent grade and SC/ST/OBC/Person with Disability categories with 45% marks . Candidate who are appearing for qualifying examination can also apply. |
| M.Ed | Candidate must have completed Shiksha Shastri/B.Ed. (With Sanskrit Teaching) with above mentioned marks from any recognised University/Institute. Candidate who are appearing for qualifying examination can also apply. |
