It is the best university for the M.A. in Education course.

Placements: Approximately 60 percent of the pupils got placed. The greatest compensation offered was around 12 LPA. Cuemath, Extramarks Education, Board Infinity, and other prominent employment firms were examples of recruiters. The minimum pay was 3 LPA, with an average of 7 LPA. Only around half of the students got internships with reputed companies. There were various high-level jobs available, including policy analyst and school counsellor.

Infrastructure: Although the housing and facilities were adequate, students had Wi-Fi problems. Everything was provided, and labs were top-notch. The classrooms were air-conditioned. The library, which had air conditioning and a large collection of books, was also excellent. The restaurants and dispensaries in the mess were not good, but the food was adequate.

Faculty: Faculty members were well-qualified and had extensive teaching experience. The best part about the university was the lecturers; they taught very well in offline classes rather than online. The university faculty conducted working visits with students to give them insight into the learning process and corporate operations. Semester exams were difficult, and the pass rate exceeded 40 percent.

The campus has good infrastructure, a pleasant campus life, nice facilities, and it promote sports.

Placements: I am writing about my course, which is a Master's in English. As it is a literature-based subject and not a professional course, we do not get placed anywhere directly. It is about clearing NET, SSB, and other exams, which help us get placed in government or government-aided colleges. Also, if a person wishes, he or she can attend walk-in interviews at different colleges, and if they qualify, they can stay there as guest faculty by signing a one-year contract.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my department in Ravenshaw University is average. We have smart classes in every classroom, but we do not have air conditioning except in one room. There is a problem with the Wi-Fi—it does not reach the farthest corners of the department. Desks and benches need to be replaced as they are pretty old. My department has its library, which is quite good, so the overall experience is average. We have six girls’ hostels. In the hostel I live in, the food quality is better. The mess provides healthy and nutritious meals.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and helpful. No one can complain about our teachers. The course is very relevant for students, as it is set according to the NET exam pattern. But it’s semesters that make us under pressure. We have them every three months, and it feels as if everyone is in a hurry to conduct the exams. It’s not that difficult to pass exams. Anyone who at least attends classes regularly can easily pass. The pass percentage is 33%.

Other: I choose this course because literature has been my favourite since childhood. Apart from that, I choose to study this course at Ravenshaw University because it provides exposure to the literary world, both nationally and internationally. Recently, my department organizes an international conference, and it is highly beneficial. One thing I want my department to improve is to give longer access to the department, as it closes by 5:00 p.m. Ravenshaw University is well known for its fests and events. Every now and then, we have events. It promotes all kinds of extracurricular activities for everyone.

Placements: Currently, I'm in the 2nd year of my Master’s. The university doesn't provide placement for psychology students. The students have to find jobs on their own. The university does provide internships. Almost all of the students can go for internships. There are multiple career options for students pursuing a Master’s in psychology. For example, after clearing the UGC NET exam, one can become a lecturer, or students can go on to do a school or college counselor job.

Infrastructure: The department of psychology has facilities like uninterrupted Wi-Fi connection, projectors, and air-conditioned, equipped classrooms. The department has its own seminar library. The remedial classes and smart PPTs are helpful in clearing the doubts of students.

Faculty: Currently, the teachers are really helpful and engaging. All of them are NET JRF qualifiers, having excellent teaching quality. The curriculum is somewhat relevant in this fast-moving field of psychology. Semesters are moderately difficult, easy to clear all the papers. One has to score a minimum of 55% to appear in other competitive exams.

Other: The best thing about the department is that they are offering specialized courses in clinical psychology. There should be more practicality in the curriculum. Lots of events keep happening on campus throughout the year, such as Nua Khai Bhet Ghat, walking book fairs, and annual sports, etc.

Placements: M.A. in English doesn't provide any placement to the students. It enhances the students efficiency and helps them to get a strong hold on the language. The course curriculum is very well structured for anyone who wants to be a professor in the near future.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good. Classrooms have smart boards and Wi-Fi facilities and are well maintained. Hostel infrastructure is also very good. Free Wi-Fi was provided to the students. Food quality is average. Great opportunities were provided to the students who are good at sports.

Faculty: Teachers are very friendly and easy to approach. Their teaching methods are highly efficient, making the subject look easy. Teaching standards are excellent. The course is very relevant, and anyone who wants to dive into the depth of the literary world will find it as the best place to dive.

Other: Since beginning, I was interested in literature, and now it feels like a dream come true while pursuing a master's at Ravenshaw University, the pride of Odisha. A lot of events and several fests were organized in the college in a grand way. The location of the college is the very best.

It was nothing short of a dream. For me, that time period was the best time ever in my life.

Placements: 5-10% of students were placed in our course. The highest package offered in our course is 6.4 Lacs. Top recruiting companies were PwC, Deloitte, etc. No students got internships in this course as it is not among those courses which require internships as of now.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is well-built and classrooms are also well-organized. There is a linguistic lab where meetings are held. The hostel is also well-built and provides Wi-Fi facilities 24*7. Hostel food is also good. For medical facilities, there is a dispensary and for sports and games, there is an indoor hall and playground.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is also good. The semester exams in this college are neither too hard nor too easy; it depends on students' hard work and dedication, which decides how the exams are.

Other: I chose to pursue my M.A. Degree in this institute. Events, fests, campus crowd, etc., are organized by the students of this university itself.

Ravenshaw: The Red Empire : The best college to recommend to the Next generation.

Placements: The college provided placement in Deloitte and Accenture and mostly provided guidance in the academic and research field. Four of my friends got the job. Also now all my friends from Ravenshaw are well-placed in different spheres as lecturers, teachers, government employees, and corporate job holders. Some of my friends too cracked NET AND SSB in the very first attempt. But particularly in my course, there is no such system of campus in any other colleges mostly. But Ravenshaw did provide Corporate jobs to us.

Infrastructure: The university is considered one of the best because of its attractive appearance yet modern services, especially the labs and libraries. The building is quite royal and huge as the British colleges. Hence, Ravenshaw is also called The Red Empire. The hostel boarders are also satisfied with the comfort and facilities. There is a proper channel for libraries where you will find every possible assistance. The food in the canteen is also good and hygienic. Every year there is an Annual Sports event in the college.

Faculty: The faculty is great in Ravenshaw as they are highly qualified and well-acquainted with the modern world. We call our teachers the experts of their genres. And they all are very supportive and encourage us to never pull ourselves back in the competitive spectrum. Apart from studies, vocational and other skills are also given relevance here. A 100% result was in my batch.

Other: Basically, I love English and had the dream to be in this field itself. And the functions, fests, events, competitions are just like the name Ravenshaw: iconic and worthy to be a part of it. In short, the college provides you an all-in-one platform.
