Ravenshaw University is the best among others in Odisha.

Placements: If you are good in basics and your spoken English is good, then you can easily be placed. In the previous year, the highest package was 4.9 LPA and the lowest is 2.9 LPA. Most of the IT companies come. For my suggestion, you should go for a lab assistant or any chemical company if you are good in Chemistry.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Ravenshaw is so beautiful. At night, it is colorful with colorful lights. The seven pillars of Ravenshaw increase the beauty and attract more people. There are many functions and ceremonies observed, which are good for student life. The hostel facility is also good; most of the students get a seat in the hostel. There are 7 boys' hostels and 6 girls' hostels.

Faculty: The teachers and professors are very helpful, and all are 30+ years experienced. The teaching methods and teaching quality are also good. If you are dreaming of CSIR NET, attending all the classes is helpful. In the semester, the questions are quite difficult, and the grading system is also good, but not so much.

Other: Every year, the Chemistry department of Ravenshaw organizes various conferences and seminars. The most important thing is your friend circle is built well, and you surely enjoy your time in Ravenshaw. It is my best memory here.

Best and the oldest college of Cuttack.

Placements: The percent of students placed in my course is about 75 last year. The highest package was about 6Lpa and the lowest was about 2Lpa. The average package offered was about 2.5Lpa. The top recruiting companies are like infosys, wipro, deloitte and about 90 percent students got internships.

Infrastructure: The faculty members and infrastructures are excellent. All the classrooms are smart class. It have Wi-Fi connection and a smart screen and also projectors in different classes. Hostel foods are quite good and medical facilities, sports and games are available in hostel premises.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful, highly qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching process are very good and make us understand it easily. No, this course does not make the students industry ready. The semester exams are moderate. The pass percentage is about 35.

Cooperative faculties, average placement in 2022-23, really good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: 10-20% students were placed in pharmaceutical companies every year in this course with packages between 2-4LPA. Students generally get placed in R&D department in pharma companies as junior scientist. Students get internship on their own in NITs, CSIR-IMMT, FSSAI, etc.

Infrastructure: Well-equipped AC classrooms, good lab facilities, department has its own library. There are hostels with 2, 3 ,4 ,6 seater rooms and are assigned to students according to their ranks in PG entrance. Hostel mess provides average food 3 times a day. University has a canteen, playgrounds ( for both indoor and outdoor games).

Faculty: Professors are very cooperative, helpful, highly qualified and knowledgeable and teaching quality is also good. Course curriculum is average, you have to do self study for entrances. Semester exams are not very easy, but manageable. Pass percentage of every batch is 95% and varies.

Other: Campus life is very lively with so many events, fest, jammings, competitions, festival celebrations every year. Infrastructure, libraries, hostel, playground, lawn everything is well maintained.

Absolutely recommendable if you don't want on campus placement.

Placements: It was so disappointing when we talk about placements in our course. There's no single student placed through on campus process because University didn't call any company for on campus placement. 0 % students recruited through campus. There's no internships included in our course.

Infrastructure: The course structure of our programme was great and the available faculty members are excellent in explaining and exploring the papers but the lab accessibility is so poor. Most of the systems doesn't work well. Hostels are good there and also the mess food is hygienic and tasty.

Faculty: Teachers are really helpful and supportive. Course curriculum was mostly relevant as per the market need. Semester exams are moderate to difficult level. Teachers makes their best efforts to explain the papers easily and communicate with us in order to clear the doubts if we have on that paper.

Other: I have expected so many things like tech-fest, campus hiring and all those, there might some possibilities of make these things to happen but the pandemic made those plans incomplete.

I am a bit satisfied with it. If we get placement, then I will be completely satisfied with it.

Placements: In the previous year, few companies provided an internship and placements. Due to the COVID pandemic, companies do not visit our college for placements. The college placement cell does not focus on the student placement future. Not a single company visit our college to select M.Sc. in Computer Science students.

Infrastructure: The hostel is quite good, and it has a clean environment. The hostel provides mess, gym and many sports activities. It has a beautiful campus.

Faculty: The course structure is quite good. There should be a few improvements in faculty members and marking structure. Otherwise, it is a great time for the 2019-2021 batch. It has a great coordinator. But in few one or two subjects, there are some guest faculty members who do not have good knowledge in the subject. The department faculty members are good and cooperative in every theory and practical field. For the current batch, we submit a feedback form. I hope the department will consider and arrange good guest faculty members.

Other: The events organised at our college are good. But it needs some improvement in course structure in my thinking. The campus is very beautiful. The university has a fee structure, which is not reduced at any cost. The hostel is closed due to the Covid -19 pandemic. In my experience, I faced a lot in form fillup and readmission. I hope it will be improved in future.

Knowledgeable and helpful faculty members. Very bad placements. Amazing Campus life.

Placements: Due to corona pandemic there is no off campus coming to college and also there is no such manager or teacher who heads in to placement programme. Very poor placement for M.Sc. computer Science students. You have to attend off campus or for the academic line.

Infrastructure: Good facilities in hostel and mesh but average facilities in the department. According to the fee structure there is no such facilities that match with that. There is no AC in computer lab. Hostel is preety good and no ragging is occurring in hostel. Foods are good and different sports are there and hostel organized cricket league every year.

Faculty: Lectures are quite knowledgeable and helpful. They are some computer Science magnificents. Teaching quality is pretty good. This course doesn't make students industry ready. You have to give your own efforts to get into corporate jobs. M.Sc. computer Science course is relevant for net and GATE and other academic lines.

Other: M.Sc. is a master course and its syllabus is impressive but programing languages are missing. You gain some deep knowledge about various topics. And there are some programming topics like python, R and other courses like web development, data analyst then its better. Campus life is awesome just wow you would love it. Scholarship is available.

All the infrastructure and faculty members are good here.

Placements: Almost 70 to 80% of the students got placed in the last year. The highest salary package offered is 6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies of our college are Wipro, Tata Consultancy Services, Concentrix and Cognizant. Almost 30% of the students got an internship in CSM. Top roles offered to the students are IT developer and business process outsourcing.

Infrastructure: Everything is available on our campus, and I think it is the best and prestigious university in our state. Hostel facilities are also very good here. Many politicians and civil servants are from our college. There is no canteen inside the campus, but it is available in the hostel.

Faculty: Knowledgeable and highly qualified professors teach here. All the lecturers here are from NIT or from reputed colleges. The course is much related to the corporate sector. I think it is the best way to get placed in the corporate sector. All teachers are friendly.

Other: I have chosen this course because I like to work in the corporate office. Everything is good.

Perfect place for professional and personal grooming.

Placements: I am from the 2017 pass out batch of M.Sc. ITM. Around 50% of the students got placed in my batch. We had the highest package at 5LPA, the lowest was 2LPA and average stood at 3-4LPA. Top recruiters included TCS, Cognizant, Wipro. Around 10% of the students got an internship.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Ravenshaw is good. In the huge campus, we had strong Wi-Fi, good classrooms, labs and libraries were well-equipped by modern facilities. The hostel was good with all the basic facilities, food and canteen average and medical facilities are quite good.

Faculty: Faculty members are helpful and always present whenever required. They are highly qualified and holds reputed degrees. The curriculum is regularly updated with respect to the modern industry trends and students are made industry-ready. Several projects and corporate training are undertaken throughout the course.

Other: I was interested in the IT industry from the very beginning. The course is both corporate and education oriented. One can either choose to join a company or pursue a career in teaching.
