Formerly known as the Government Women's College, Rama Devi Women’s University is a state-level university. It was established in 1964 and was entitled as a University in 2015. It is the first women's university in Odisha. At present, the University has 49 women’s colleges affiliated with it. UGC recognises RDW University and was also awarded CPE (College with Potential for Excellence) status by UGC.
Ramadevi University Bhubaneswar offers UG, PG, and PhD courses across Management, Science, Commerce, and others. The flagship courses offered at RDWU are BSc and MBA.
