Sabarmati University provides different courses based on various entrance exams like ACPC, JEE Main, CMAT, CAT, and GUJCET. A minimum of 60 percentile in CAT and 90+ in MAT is needed for admission to Sabarmati University in an MBA program. 

The university also considers 12th board percentages of CBSE or GSEB HSC or any recognized board.

CAT 2025 syllabus was announced along with the exam schedule in July 2025. The CAT 2025 conducting IIM released the exam notification carrying application dates, exam dates, eligibility criteria, fees, courses and CAT syllabus. The syllabus for CAT 2025 includes all the important topics of Verbal Ability, Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning and Data Interpretation.

According to recent reports, both universities are approved by UGC. Sabarmati University is graded "B+" by NAAC. Navrachna University offers 29 courses across 10 streams and Sabarmati University offers 17 courses. Sabarmati University has an international link with Cape Breton University and the University of Prince Edward Island. 

The fee for the MBA course at Sabarmati is around INR 1.2 Lakhs for the whole course and the MBA course at Navrachna University costs INR 2.18 Lakhs for the whole course. A total number of 60 seats are offered at Sabarmati University and 120 seats are offered at Navrachna University. 

MBA at Sabarmati University is much cheaper as compared with Navrachna University.
