Disappointed with college culture, events, and campus life. You can consider it as a last option.
Placements: DA, Developer, and similar roles are offered majorly. Placements are decent but very limited. You can think of it as mass hiring companies, local startups, or local firms. An average package of up to 6 LPA can be expected. Only 2 or 3 students can expect packages up to 11–12 LPA in a batch size of 300 students.
Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure is decent, given the low fee structure of the college. But if you compare it to some big private universities, you cannot expect more. It mainly has hostels and classrooms. There is actually no place to hang out or spend time. There is no infrastructure for sports or gyms.
Faculty: In this college, a batch system similar to coaching classes like Super 60. Two or three teachers are decent in these batches, but other than that, you cannot expect experienced faculty members. The curriculum is kind of outdated. It is an affiliated college, so the syllabus and exam structure are decided by IKGPTU Jalandhar. Personally, I think they have one of the worst systems for exams.
Other: There is not much campus life compared to old reputed universities. There is no culture of societies or clubs. They also have a community-like thing called Unique U. You can join that community if you want, but it has its own benefits and losses. They claim it provides a corporate culture, but it is not completely true. Inside, you can lose your social access in college. There are other restrictions as well. However, there are some benefits, such as escaping academics because there are no classes in this community.

I guess small college, nice canteens, and greenery.
Placements: Around 50-60 LPA is the package offered. Personally, I am an international student from Africa. Roles offered are software developer, web developer, and system engineer analyst. Top recruiting companies I heard are IBM, Amazon, and Tech Mahindra. I guess approximately 70 percent of students received internships.
Infrastructure: Hostel is okay. It has its rules like gate pass and all as usual. There are no electrical appliances, inform the warden and parents before staying. No Wi-Fi is available. Food has normal taste. There is first aid access but no medical access. There is a hospital nearby. Sports are available such as cricket and football.
Faculty: Exams are easy if you pay attention, you can easily crack the exam. Course covers core engineering subjects. Though you need to study by yourself as well, additionally, to be ready if you actually want to pursue a job out of it. Exams are not that hard with good attendance.
Other: Events are conducted a lot. Dancing and singing groups are there as well. Debating and all. If you are interested you can participate.

Overall, college is good in terms of fees.
Placements: 3 batches are running the unique, super60, and non super60 from unique. Your placement is fixed, depending on your skills, but the average package is 5 to 6 LPA. It is under contract with the company. If you do not have skills, you will be fired after 1 year.
Infrastructure: Our college has good infrastructure with playgrounds and a lot of activities, a canteen is available at affordable price, but for medical we have to go out of the college campus. A hospital is present beside the college, Gian Sagar Medical College. Overall, SVIET Punjab offers good infrastructure and supportive facilities for students. While some areas like mess food, can improve. The campus environment, labs, library, and academic support make it a suitable place for learning and growth. Each department has its own dedicated laboratories, and the CSE/IT labs are equipped with updated systems, necessary software, and proper technical support. Classrooms are spacious, well-ventilated, and many are fitted with SMART boards to make teaching more interactive. The library is one of the strong points of the campus, offering a wide collection of textbooks, reference material, journals, and a peaceful space for self-study.
Faculty: In our college, there are very good facilities present, but daily attendance is mandatory in B.Tech course otherwise, you will be fined. In terms of academics, semester exams are moderately difficult. Students who attend classes regularly and study the provided notes can score well without much stress. The institute gives proper internal assessment, class tests, and revision sessions before exams. The pass percentage is fairly high, as most students clear their semesters with consistent effort and basic preparation. Overall, SVIET provides a supportive academic environment that helps students grow both academically and professionally.
Other: There is no fresher party than the DJ night and other events.

Return on investment is good, but dissatisfied with mess, medical, and sports.
Placements: About 50-60% of students in college got placed. The highest package of the college for the year 2024 was 12 LPA. The lowest salary is 3.5 LPA, and average package is 5 LPA - 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Reliance, etc. About 50-60% of students get internships per year.
Infrastructure: It provides good Wi-Fi, well-equipped labs, spacious classrooms, and large library with good resources. Hostel rooms are okay. Mess food is totally mess even canteen doesn't offer much better options. No medical facilities are available, not a good infrastructure for sports as well and not much games facilities.
Faculty: Generally helpful and qualified teachers. Teaching quality is decent but varies from faculty to faculty. Course curriculum is relevant for fundamentals but needs extra learning for full industry readiness. Moderate difficulty level in semester exams. Pass percentage is around 85-90%.

The PSR college is the best college where you can find out how to chase your dreams.
Placements: There are around 400 students in the B.A. course and the requirements for the course are not very high.
Infrastructure: The college provides free WiFi and computer labs. The hostel rooms are hygienic and wellmaintained and the mess food is prepared in a hygienic place. We get all the facilities from the college like refreshments and medical facilities. Everything we do in college is under the consent of our supporting teacher.
Faculty: The teachers are wellqualified well-behaved and knowledgeable always ready to help us in any field. They are very helpful and kind. The semester exams are based on the books and are not very tough. The passing percentage is 33 percent and this is the best college that supports you at every point in life. The college is very good and the professors take care of every student.
Other: I am interested in politics, so I chose this course so that I can complete my graduation, and I am learning many new things from this course. The events, campus, and everything are so good, and we enjoy going to college every day. We enjoy every event organized here, as many events are held so that students can learn something from these events.

Budget friendly college.
Placements: Nearly 90% of the students secured good placements. The average package goes to 6 LPA, and the highest package goes to 50 LPA. Companies like Jio and Paytm are involved, and the college has several startups on campus as well, providing better industrial training.
Infrastructure: The facilities are commendable, and they offer good Wi-Fi access; however, it is not available for first-year students. The college is very strict concerning the years, and they maintain rigorous educational standards. Additionally, they have an excellent mess and better IoT labs.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful to students. They have vast knowledge. They have very good skills in teaching and vast experience. They have sharp minds due there efforts the pass percentage is always more than average. They are supporting us till our exams.
Other: I chose this course because I have an interest in coding and the college was offering it on a very small budget. The college is already making this batch better and they also organized teach related fest to enhance our knowledge.
