BVA at SBU empowers artists and helps change the perception of art careers.

Placements: About 90% of students get placed from the BVA course. Some of the top recruiters include Gareen Gold Animation, Red Chillies VFX, and other design studios. Common roles offered include graphic designer, visual artist, animator, content creator, and junior art director. Internships are also available in various production and advertising companies, which helps in providing real-world exposure.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are spacious and clean, with basic tools for art students. Wi-Fi and the library are decent. Hostel rooms are well-maintained and secure. Mess food is average. Medical help and sports facilities are available. The environment is calm and supportive.

Faculty: All teachers are helpful. They are qualified and encourage creativity. The BVA curriculum covers essential theory and practical skills. It is making students industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate in difficulty. Most students pass if they attend classes and complete their work.

Other: I chose BVA to follow my passion and prove that art is a real career. The course builds strong creative basics, though I wish it included more digital tools. The campus is peaceful, events are held yearly, and the crowd is friendly. Scholarships are also available. I chose the BVA course not just because I am passionate about art, but because I believe in the power of visual storytelling to inspire change. Both in society and in people’s minds, art has always been my way of expressing emotions and ideas that words cannot capture.
