Seacom Skills University - SSU accepts JEE Mains as well as WBJEE entrance exam scores for admission in regular B.Tech courses. For Integrated Diploma + B.Tech the college accepts Class 10th CBSE boards result. Totake admission in B. Pharma it is WBJEE exam which needs to be given. For taking admission in BA in Seacom Skills University - SSU it accepts WBCHSE exam score.

Seacom Skills University has signed MoU with IBM. This has opened up opportunities for freshers placement at not only IBM but with other companies which use IBM software. ICICI Bank, Haier, Aditya Birla group, Infosys etc. are all one of the top recruiters of SSU. Around 70-85% students get placed in good companies.

The fee structure of Seacom Skills University in 2023-2024 is INR 25,000/ for School Of Commerce And Management Studies (Semester Fees).The fees of School Of Pharmacy is around INR 60,000/ (Semester Fees). As the fees structures are medium to high at Seacom Skills University so their Placements are also good for the candidates who took admission in this University. For example, students enrolling in undergraduate courses like UG-Science and other professional degrees approved by the UGC must have obtained at least 75% on their most recent qualifying test in order to be eligible for a scholarship worth INR 1,500. 
 There are over a dozen distinct types of scholarships available at SSU. These kinds of scholarship programs directly aid a large number of SSU students, especially those from economically poor homes or those with physical limitations.

In 2023, the last round cutoff for CSE was 89831, which increased to 100001 in 2024. In 2025, the cutoff rank again decreased to 48588. Therefore, it is confirmed that over a period of three years, the WBJEE cutoff ranks saw inconsistency in their closing rank for CSE admission at SSU. 

WBJEE Counselling 2025 was conducted in two rounds, namely Round 1 and Round 2, followed by the Defence quota counselling.
