B.Tech. in Biotechnology - Batch of 2029
4.4
Satisfied with the facility and faculty of the college.
Placements: There are various roles offered. The average package is between 3 LPA and 4 LPA. Not very great, but a decent college based on placement records. If you are hardworking enough, you will find a decent package as the placement and training department is quite good, and many companies visit the college for in-campus placements.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and the library are 10/10. You will find the most supportive teachers and facilities here. The hostel is also very good. The food is average, neither very bad nor very good, except for the food part, everything else is very good. 50 percent of students are from Bihar, but students from other states and nations are also here.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, quite qualified and experienced. The course curriculum is very relevant you are made industry-ready, you just have to focus on that yourself, but you will get a lot of support from your faculty member. Semester exams are medium-level, and most of the students pass.
Other: I chose B.Tech biotechnology because it is an emerging field, and there will be a lot of scope in this sector.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the crowd, but facilities and opportunities are good.
Placements: Our college doesn't provide placements for law at the moment, but other technical and non-technical job offers are available. Internships are common, our department makes sure every student interns while on semester break. Almost everyone gets an internship at courts, offices, and law firms.
Infrastructure: So, we have a full-fledged central library with all the books, specifically for law, we have another law library. There is a moot court hall for all the competitions and spacious, well-developed classrooms. The canteen only provides readymade things to eat; no food is cooked there.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is okay. The curriculum is relevant to NEP and does make students industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate in this university, and people can pass with average study hours. Back papers are low.

Shobhit Institute of Engineering and Technology is good for B.Tech students.
Placements: A total of 180 students are placed in our B.Tech CSE course, which is divided into Section A and Section B. The highest package offered is 12 LPA, while the lowest is 1 LPA, with an average package of 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies include Capgemini, Cognizant, HCL, etc. Around 95% of students get internships in reputed companies like Infotech and Qboid. The most common roles offered are Software Developer, Data Scientist, and Cybersecurity Analyst.
Infrastructure: There are good facilities and infrastructure in our B.Tech CSE course. Wi-Fi, computer labs, chemistry lab, physics lab, communication lab, and good classrooms with smart boards are available. The library is also accessible to all students. The food in the mess is average, but the medical facilities are good. Sports and games are also happen in the college.
Faculty: Teachers are very good, knowledgeable, and well-qualified, and their teaching style is also good. The B.Tech CSE course is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. The semester exams are a little bit difficult, and the pass criteria is 40%.
Other: I chose the B.Tech CSE course because of my deep interest in technology and problem-solving, which aligns perfectly with the field of Computer Science. Events and fests are also done in our college, scholarships are provided, and extracurricular activities are also done in our college.

Demerits of getting into the college.
Placements: The college provides the placement of an average of 3-4 lac from campus, and the criteria to sit in interviews are with no backlogs remaining. Most local companies come for campus placements. The number of students placed is 1/4th or sometimes maybe more, but most students are able to get internships.
Infrastructure: The hostel is poor as they don't have separate rooms, and all are non-AC, which makes them poorer with its mess food. The infrastructure is also very small. This university has many departments within the same occupying small space, and as small space is given to departments, not many facilities are included. Only one library is available, having time limits when it opens.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are not professors; only a few professors can be seen. Teachers have limited knowledge, and their quality of teaching is the same as at the school level. They don’t have much exposure to students, and they have very little exposure to the industry. A few visits remain confined to them only. Passing exams is easy at this university.
Other: This college campus area is also very small ,doesn’t hold any events and doesn’t call any celebrities for parties. Only one fresher is organized by students only. Most of the students they bring in are from Bihar, so the quality of education is low. They need to implement their own rules for exams, which get changed according to their convenience.

Review of Shobhit Institute of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: Percentage of students that got placed in our batch is 98%. Companies that visit our campus are mostly startups like Qboid, Infotech, Accio Job, Fancraze, and Branch. Top roles offered are software engineer, web developer, IOT engineer, etc. The average salary package offered is 3 LPA. There are almost 95 % of students who secured internships from our course I am one of them.
Infrastructure: Facilities of our college are very decent. 56 Wi-Fi connections are always available to access. The main attraction is our labs with different operation systems and different software to use. Classrooms are spacious with wooden furniture, projectors, and large whiteboards. Library facility is also top-notch. Library is available from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM. It has also collaborated with NDLI so students are requested to update their details on NDLI, which is very useful whenever we don't find anything physically we can access it online. I am not a hostel student, so I am not very aware of facilities. However, I can talk about the canteen, which is the main hangout spot for students. There are a lot of journals and books available in the library. We also have access to the national library. The login details are given to access the online national digital library, which is very useful. We have labs for every class.
Faculty: Teachers at our college are very helpful they will help you with academics as well as will give you advice when needed. They are highly qualified all of them are postgraduates and most of them are Ph.D. holders or are working on their Ph.D. They are knowledgeable as well in their subjects. They are excellent at different subjects as well. They teach using both aspect theory and practical. Course curriculum is very relevant and they conduct tests after every unit, along with assignments as a final project after course completion. A few teachers help to work using real-world problems, but some teachers work only on the theoretical part and that makes it difficult to go further with the subject. The time given is enough for exams. The difficulty level of the exam is quite good, but it should be more practical rather than theoretical. Most of the teachers use projectors to teach.
Other: Course curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course. It teaches different computer languages and completing projects. I think different activities like GD and mentor-mentee system should be conducted will make more indulge the curriculum to get more attached to the subjects. Over my three years, there have been only three events held which are GeneraTe, Dadia Night, and the annual festival, Sangeeta. Computers in labs are working with different OS.
