Excel Yourself at Shobhit Institute of Engineering and Technology, Meerut
Placements: In biomedical engineering, placements are literally 100% and the average package is more than 5 Lacs every year. The highest package is 18 Lacs, I guess, and alumni are placed in very good companies; some even have their own companies and are earning in crores. But for other branches, placement is quite low with an average of 3 Lacs+ and the highest is more than 20 LPA. However, for other branches, it's better because, in other colleges, even this is not available to students due to the recession in the market.
Infrastructure: In the hostel, 2/3-seater rooms with Wi-Fi are available and hostel facilities are good, but the mess is like all other universities—less than expected. For the hostel, you will also get gym facilities, and if you don't want to take the hostel, then outside the university, PG and rooms are available at a very cheap price, like 2-3k per month (food excluding).
Faculty: The faculty is very supportive and the ratio of faculty to students in the biomedical department is almost 5-6 students per faculty. That's very good and a sign of a progressive course. I personally like that small-size classroom benefits. For exams, there are 2 exams in a semester: mid and end-sem.
Other: Every year, the Sangeetam cultural fest is organized and, from this year, the Teach fest is going to be organized every year. Being a core team member of both of the fests, I can guarantee you will have fun in university events, as I am also enjoying the campus life. There is a 3-day sports meet every year in February.

Faculty members are very supportive.
Placements: In the university, the placement of the students is met very easily in my course because of the high alumni connection. All students are doing internships in reputed hospitals like Yashoda Hospital and so many more. So the placement is good for the biomedical students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the hostel is very good, and the students live there like family. The warden is also very supportive, and Wi-Fi is also provided in the hostel. All rooms are neat and clean, and the canteen is also very nice. There are a variety of items in the canteen.
Faculty: Faculty members are good in behavior, and their method of study is also very good. Most of the faculty members are well qualified and have years of experience in this sector. The course curriculum is very well designed, and the exams are conducted in a very hard manner. Students need to study well to crack the exams.

A supportive faculty and vibrant campus life, but placements and industry exposure need improvement.
Placements: 100 % of my super seniors got placed from my college. Case SEE Biomedical Engineering is a demanding field in the North in the UP and Delhi itself and the students who study from here is absolutely lucky. This university provides awesome skills and basic education. There will be internships by the university itself and based on your performance you'll be placed in a good niche or specialisation. Companies like BPL and other medical technologies are been guaranteed by the university.
Infrastructure:
The campus has ICT-enabled classrooms, projectors, and comfortable seating for SMART learning. Specialized labs are well-equipped for research and practice. Wi-Fi is available across hostels and academic areas. The library offers books, journals, and e-resources. Hostels are clean with proper hygiene and Wi-Fi. Mess and canteen provide quality food. Medical care and excellent sports facilities enrich student life.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, approachable, and well-qualified, offering both theoretical and practical knowledge. Teaching combines lectures, demonstrations, and projects, with core subjects, electives, labs, internships, and final-year projects ensuring hands-on learning. Guest lectures and workshops enhance industry readiness. Though the curriculum is strong, extra certification are encouraged. Exams are moderate difficult, with a high pass percentage of 75?90%. .
Other: I chose this course for my interest and career prospects. Shobhit University offers supportive faculty, well-equipped labs, and opportunities through internships, workshops, and projects. Research, electives, and competitions enhance learning. However, more industry tie-ups, placements, and soft-skill training are needed. The campus is diverse, peaceful, well-connected, with fests, scholarships, and extracurricular clubs enriching student life.
