B.A. in Shastri (Sanskrit) - Batch of 2024
Offered by Pt.J.L.N.G.C
2.2

Review of Pt.J.L.N.G.C.
Placements: 30 to 40% of students are in my course, and I don't hear about any placement support from our college. There are no recruitment drives, no internships offered to students, and no roles provided within our course. The college can't handle this kind of situation for students.
Infrastructure: The facilities at our college are very poor. The classrooms lack electricity boards and fans that work properly. The library is always dirty, and we don't want to sit there. There's no message system, no canteen, no medical facilities, no sports, and no games.
Faculty: The teachers are knowledgeable and educated, but the college lacks strictness regarding studies, rules, and regulations. They only care about appearances. They conduct good exams, and the environment created for exams is sometimes nice, but we are often dissatisfied with the exam time facilities.
Other: The best thing about our course is that we can do other things alongside, like prepare for competitive exams and focus on passions like music, dance, etc. The college is good for students who want to pass their time and don't want any placement and other facilities.

B.A. in Shastri (Sahitya) - Batch of 2027
Offered by Gogte Institute of Technology

All about KLS-GIT college.
Placements: The highest package was 50 lacs and for the CS branch, it is 22.5 lacs this year. The average package for the CS branch is 8,00,000. I opted for the CSE branch in computer science engineering, which is the best course offered by GIT. The fees depend on which branch you choose and the mode of admission.
Infrastructure: In the hostel, you will get free Wi-Fi but not for the newly constructed 3rd floor, nor for the filtered water facility. The facilities in the hostel room are nice; you will get a chair, a table, a big locker and a bed. You do not get hot water facilities in boys hostels.
Faculty: The exams conducted are, firstly, IA 1, which will be the first and easiest exam of your semester; second, IA 2, which will be a little harder than IA 1; and finally, the semester exam, whose difficult level is high. My KCET rank was 8700 and I got into this college through KCET only.

B.Voc. in Journalism And Mass Communication - Batch of 2026
Offered by NS Patel Arts College

Honest review of NS Patel Arts College.
Placements: Honestly, placements in our course are almost non-existent. Hardly 5-10% of students managed to get placed, and that too in low-paying jobs. No major companies visited the campus. Most of us have to find internships or work opportunities on our own, through personal contacts or a platform like Internshala. There is no proper placement cell or career guidance provided. Even those who got internships rarely received full-time offers later. Overall, the placement support is extremely weak.
Infrastructure: Our department has very basic infrastructure. There is no Wi-Fi provided, which makes it difficult to research or submit online assignments. Classrooms are functional but nothing special just benches, fans, and a blackboard or whiteboards. Since our course does not require labs, they are not available. The library is small and not regularly updated, with limited useful books for our stream. There are no smart classrooms or modern facilities. Overall, the setup is average and just enough to get by, but definitely not something you would call modern or well-equipped.
Faculty: Teachers are actually one of the strongest points of our department. Most of them are supportive, friendly, and genuinely try to help students in both academics and other areas. The curriculum is decent and covers the basics, although not very industry-oriented. Exams are not too tough if you attend classes. Pass percentage is high because teachers guide you well and make sure students don't fail unnecessarily. Overall, the teaching staff is cooperative, and the environment is easy-going.
Other: I chose this course because I was interested in the media and communication field. This college is one of the few options available in my area that offers this subject. The fees are affordable, and I have heard from seniors that teachers are helpful. I wish to improve practical exposure. It provides more field visits, industry interaction, and workshops would really help. Campus life is okay, but very chill and laid-back. There aren't many events or fests, but if you keep your circle active, you will enjoy it.

B.Ed. in Sanskrit - Batch of 2020
4.6

Our college is a good cultural and enthusiastic institution.
Placements: Placements were not provided since the subject was Sanskrit. We could find a job by applying for an interview at different colleges and schools.
Infrastructure: This institution looks like a classical Gurukul where students could learn and develop their disciplined behavior.
Faculty: The course was very good and useful. There were good faculty members and helpful staff members.
Other: The majority of the value-added items were culturally significant on campus. Faculty members wearing traditional outfits were very good. In our college, every evening was the best with a cultural environment. The different environment made it very different from other colleges.

B.A. in Shastri (Vyakarana) - Batch of 2024
Offered by Shri Shailesh Chandulal Gandhi BCA College
2.8
4Placements3Infrastructure2Faculty2Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
I am dissatisfied because of faculty, good activities and placements are more off-campus.
Placements: In our college not many placements are available. Not many companies visit our college. In our college, the highest salary package offered is 3 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 2 LPA. Maximum of the batch gets internships off-campus and on-campus. Top roles offered are web developer and android developer.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure of the department like Wi-Fi which is available but not provided to the students but used by faculty members. Labs and library facilities are provided by the college. Labs are good and have good computers but the library is not good. Hostel facility is not provided by our college so students have to find college on their own. Food is not available but sports and games facilities are good.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and help to understand new technologies. This course curriculum is relevant and it makes students industry-ready. The exams are not much difficult but not much easier too. Most of the students passed the exam.
Other: I chose this course because I have an interest in coding and want to become a software engineer. The course is better but can be improved if new technologies are added to it. Festivals, scholarships, and extracurricular activities are good in this college.
