SIU Bangalore MBA/ Executive-MBA Admission 2021
The University offers a full-time MBA programme in nine different specialisations. MBA is offered with a duration of two years, consisting of four semesters. SSMC Bangalore offers MBA in Integrated Marketing Communication and Media Analytics whereas, the rest of the specialisations are offered by SIBM Bangalore.
MBA Finance, Marketing, Operations Management and HR Management have a total seat intake of 180 students, whereas MBA Quantitative Finance, Business Analytics and Family Managed Business & Entrepreneurship have a seat intake of 30 students each.
Admission to MBA programme is based on the SNAP exam. Any candidate, who has done graduation in the relevant stream from a recognised university, can apply for the same. However, the final selection of students is based on the SNAP scores and the performance in Group Exercise (GE), Personal Interview (PI) and Written Ability Test (WAT).

Apart from the full-time MBA programme, SIBM Bangalore also offers an Executive MBA for working professionals. The course duration of this programme is 30 months and the classes will be held only on weekends. Admission to this programme is done on merit basis. A candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline, to be eligible for this programme. The final selection of students will be based on the graduation scores and the performance in PI-WAT.

Candidates applying for MBA programme, need to first register for SNAP exam, followed by the MBA programme. The application fee for SNAP is Rs 1,750, which can be paid online as well as offline. After the successful SNAP registration, candidates need to register at the respective website of the institute. The application fee for MBA programme is Rs 1,000, which can be paid online. SIU Bangalore Scholarships
The University offers PG Merit Scholarship, under all MBA specialisations. Given below are the details regarding this scholarship:
- Students who are declared as the topper of the first semester are eligible for this scholarship
- A student must have a minimum GPA of 7.50 to apply for this scholarship
- In every specialisation, the scholarship will be given to a single candidate who has topped the examination.
