Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research conducts its own entrance exam for admission to UG, PG and MBA programmes. The test is conducted for three hours and includes a total of 180 multiple-choice questions. MBBS	Candidates must have passed the HSC examination /equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% aggregate (40% aggregate for SC/ ST/ OBC) taking together Physics, Chemistry and Biology (or Botany & Zoology) and a pass in English. Aspirants have also secured not less than 50% marks (40% marks for SC/ ST/ OBC) in the entrance exam to apply for the MBBS course.

Candidates who have completed bachelor's degree of a minimum of three-years with at least 50% aggregate are eligible to apply for MBA programme. Aspirants belonging to reserved category must have secured at least 45% aggregate to apply for this course. Aspirants must submit a certificate of medical fitness from authorised medical officer certifying that the candidate is physically fit to undergo the academic programme and does not suffer from disability or contagious disease to the head of institute at the time of admission.

BSc admissions at SRIHER Chennai is based on merit in the SRIHER BSc Entrance Exam / Interview, followed by a counselling and seat allotment process. Once a seat is allotted, confirm admission by submitting the required documents and paying the first-year fee. This admission process is standard for all major BSc specialisations.

Yes, candidates seeking admission in MBBS programme of Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research must have a valid NEET score. BPharm fees at SRIHER is paid annually. Students are required to pay INR 1.25 Lacs in the beginning of each academic year, bringing the total fee to approximately INR 5 Lacs over four years. Additional costs may be applied. 

Sri Ramachandra University offers MBBS BDS B.Sc. (Medical), B.Sc. (Nursing), BPT BOT, BBA B.Pharma and BASLP courses at the UG level. At the PG level, the university offers Pharma. D. MD MS MPT M.Sc. (Nursing), M.Sc. (Medical) and MBA courses in various disciplines. Along with UG and PG courses, students can also apply to DM. M.Ch. And Ph.D. courses at the doctorate level. MBBS and BDS admission is subject to a valid score in NEET UG followed by counselling. Admission to B.Tech, B.Sc. And M.Sc. Courses are offered on the basis of merit and interview conducted by the university. In some selected UG level programs, the university shortlists candidates for the interview round on the basis of their marks in the qualifying degree. NEET PG qualified candidates are eligible to apply for admission to MD and MS courses. Final admission is offered through counselling conducted by DGHS, New Delhi. To secure admission to MS NEET MS qualified candidates are eligible to apply while DM & M.Ch. Courses require a valid score in NEET SS. Candidates have to qualify in the university-based entrance test for selected PG courses along with M.Phil. Sri Ramachandra University also conducts an interview round the shortlisted candidates to grant admission in some specific PG courses. Admission to Ph.D. (Part-Time) and Full-Time courses are offered on the basis of qualifying exams followed by an interview.
