The minimum marks required to get a seat at Sri Venkateshwara veterinary university is 50% in their subjects. A student under general category to get the seat to the BVSc & AH degree course must have passed in each of the subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology and at least obtained 50% marks in aggregate of these subjects to qualify the examination.

Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University has wide recognition for its extension activities in veterinary, dairy technology and fishery sciences. There is an entrance-based admission process for all Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University courses at the UG level, PG level, and research level.Candidates for UG courses must pass the state-level entrance examination, the AP EAMCET.As part of the PhD application process, candidates are also required to appear for a Personal Interview (PI). So admissions to Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University is based on entrance followed by PI which is mandatory for the students.
