Q:   Does TNJFU accept GATE score?
A: 

TNJFU offers admission to courses such as M.Tech on the basis of the valid scores of GATE. Candidates must secure a minimum agggregate of 50% in graduation along with securing valid score in accepted entrance exams and cousnelling round (if any). The University considers GATE, however, to learn about the eligible scores, candidates must check out the previous year trend.

Q:   Is entrance exam required for BVoc at TNJFU?
A: 

TNJFU offers admission to courses such as BVoc on the basis of merit and accepted entrance exams. The University offers admission to BVoc on the basis of institutional level examination along with Class 12 aggregate. The university offers BVoc in various specialisations with a total tuition fees of worth INR 12 K. 

Q:   What concerns you the most about TNJFU admissions?
A: 

Some of the major concerns aorund TNJFU admissions are with the lifestyle alteration and the location to adjust. It can be comparatively challenging for the students to adjust to the geographical changes along with the language barrier. The University otherwise offers a warm and friendly atmosphere for the students to co-exist in.

A satisfied course. It has good placements.
Placements: 90 percent students in my course were placed in jobs. The highest salary package was 50000 per month, the lowest was Rs. 20000 per month and the average salary package was Rs. 30,000 per month. The companies that recruited students from my course were Shenglong Pvt. Limited and Avanti Pvt. Limited. All students in my course were placed in internships. The internships were in the following areas: fish farm manager, feed company marketing manager, and quality control.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, and the faculty is very supportive. The classrooms and labs are well-equipped. The college has a good library and Wi-Fi. There are separate hostels for boys and girls, and medical facilities are available in the hostel. The college has a basketball court and football ground. The college canteen provides good quality food.
Faculty: The teaching quality is very good, and the teachers are helpful to students. The teachers are qualified and knowledgeable, and they make sure that the students are industry-ready. The semester exams are very easy if you study well. The pass percentage is 99.9%.
Other: I like fishes, so I chose fisheries science as my course of study. I would like to know if the university offers any scholarships and extracurricular activities that I could participate in.

Above average, there is no assurance of placement.
Placements: There were only 40 seats allocated for one batch, plus 2 seats for the Andaman and Nicobar Island quotas and 1 Fisherman quota. In our college, half of the students are in the food industry, digital marketing, etc. Some of the students went for higher studies.
Infrastructure: There are Wi-Fi facilities in both the college and hostel. There are computer lab facilities, an engineering workshop, labs, an NADP incubation center, etc. At first, the mess was in the students' mess; there was a dividing system for all, but after Corona, they changed into a contractual mess. The food quality and quantity are okay.
Faculty: Yes, facilities were qualified and helpful. Yes. In the final year, they made it compulsory to do internships in industries. So they made us ready for industry. Semester exams are slightly different from those at other universities and a little bit tougher. The papers were sent to various affiliated colleges for corrections. The pass percentage is 80–95%.
Other: There is a lot of events, fest, extra & co-curricular activities in there. And there is one paper for NSS4. There are many events, festivals, extracurricular and co-curricular activities. There is also a compulsory 10-day camp in the village. There is no hostel fee for this college; there is only a hostel deposit and a monthly Rs. 4000 for mess and Rs. 250 for maintenance charges.

Absolutely satisfied in this course.
Placements: Above 95 percent of the students were placed in the course. The highest, the lowest, and the average package offered in the course was our ability and our interest in the carriers. Top companies are recruiting by conducting entrance exams. All students must get an internship in the course.
Infrastructure: The quality of the mess food is very good. In the college, medical facility available. The cricket ground and volleyball ground is there on the college campus. The college supplies 24 hours water supply and RO water facilities on the campus. Wi-Fi is available on the college campus.
Faculty: The teachers were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality was very nice. The course is curriculum relevant. It makes the student industry ready. The semester exams are a little bit hard. The pass percentage of the course in the college is above 95%.

Absolutely satisfied because of faculty good placements in 2022.
Placements: Around 25 per cent of students were placed in the course. It provides the best placement opportunities. If students clear all subjects, they used to write exams in private and government clinics. Students can practice as clinical physiotherapists.

Our college is very good.
Placements: Almost 98% of students got placed in our course. The average salary offered was Rs.12,000 per month. Top recruiting companies do not visit our college to hire students. Internships are also offered in our course. Top roles offered are consultant physiotherapist, community physiotherapist, sports physiotherapist, and rehabilitation physiotherapist.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not good. There is no proper hostel management in this college. Wi-Fi, laboratory, classrooms, and library are not available. Hostel facilities are not good. The food quality is average.
Faculty: Faculty members are average. The teaching quality is not good. Our course curriculum is related to MGR University. Semester exams are moderate, and the pass percentage is 99%.
Other: I chose this course because I failed NEET exam. Extracurricular activities, sports, and games are not conducted in this college.
