No, students can not get direct admission. The university accepts admission based on the application sent by the candidates followed by an interview, wherein the university evaluates its applicants based on their academic qualifications and other co-curricular activities. For the PhD programme, admission is entrance-based. Aspiring candidates must qualify for the eligibility criteria set by the institute for the desired course. 

ICFAI University Nagaland offers UG, PG and doctoral level programmes in the field of Arts, Commerce and Management such as BA, BA (Hons), BBA, BCA, BCom, BCom (Hons), MA, MBA, MPhil and PhD.

Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India offers courses at diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. The Diploma courses are offered by the university in civil engineering and mechanical engineering. ICFAI Dehradun UG courses are B.Tech, BCA, B.Sc, BBA, BA LLB, BBA LLB, LLB and B.Ed. The duration of the ICFAI Dehradun UG courses ranges from 3 years to 5 years. ICFAI Dehradun PG courses are M.Tech, MCA, MBA, MA (Education) and LLM. The ICFAI Dehradun course fee is provided in the form of domicile and non-domicile groups. The eligibility criteria for the courses offered by ICFAI Dehradun vary from one programme to another.

Yes, there is a special provision for candidates from Nagaland state. 25% of the total seats for all programmes are reserved for candidates having Nagaland domicile. If any seats remain vacant under the above-mentioned criteria, they are filled up by the students from Open category.

No, ICFAI University Nagaland does not have a ragging culture. The university has an anti-ragging policy and committee. New students sign an undertaking that they are aware of the ban on ragging and that they will face punishment if found guilty. The university observes National Anti-Ragging Day. 

ICFAI University Nagaland follows a merit-based admission process and the admission process 2025 is ongoing. The important dates related to admission are as follows: 

• Application forms are out and are ongoing for the admission session 2025
• The last date to apply is expected to be in the first week of August
• Regular classes for shortlisted candidates expected to begin in the month of August

The application form fee for ICFAI University Nagaland is INR 300 for candidates wishing to apply for any of the UG or PG courses. Candidates prior to the payment of the application fee must check the eligibility criteria of the course they wish to apply for. Candidates who do not meet the eligibility criteria for the course they have applied for are not considered for the admission process.

Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria for the Doctoral coureses at ICFAI University can apply for the same through the online application form. The admission process for Doctoral programmes requires candidates to appear for the entrance test and then the Personal Interview round. The final shortlsit is created based on the entrance test and the PI round score. 

The commencemnet of course work classes for Doctoral programmes is expected to begin in the last week of August.
