A university with great placement and quality of education.

Placements: 1. 70-80% of students were placed in our course. 2. The highest and the lowest packages were 8 Lacs per annum and 3 Lacs per annum respectively. 3. Top recruiting companies were HDFC Bank, BYJUS, ICICI Bank, Taj Hotel, Pantaloons etc. 4. 70-80% of students were given internship opportunities in our department. 5. Top roles offered in our college were Business Development manager, accounts, supervisors etc.

Infrastructure: 1. The facilities and infrastructure available in our college were very superior as compared to other colleges. It provides Wi-Fi, labs and classroom facilities along with a library inbuilt. 2. The quality of facilities available in the hostel is good and talking about the food in the canteen, it was very healthy and delicious and college also provides medical and sports facilities apart from that.

Faculty: 1. Yes, absolutely the teachers were helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. They are very professional in terms of imparting education and experience in real life. 2. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant and it makes us ready for industry. 3. It is not that difficult to pass the semester examination and the pass percentage is 90-100%.

The quality of the food is delicious and healthy. The facilities of our hostel are also good and it also provides medical and sports facilities.

Faculty: 1. Yes, ofcourse the teachers are helpful, qualified and experienced. They have good knowledge of education. 2. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant and it also makes us ready for industry. 3. It is not that much difficult to pass in the semester exam. And the pass percentage was 80-90%. .

Everything was good there!

Placements: Most of the companies denied visiting the campus due to COVID, but somehow there was a Chennai-based learning company that accepted the proposal to visit the campus for placements. Otherwise, the top recruiting companies are mostly banks and IT firms. Roles – BDE, BDM.

Infrastructure: Though I never had a chance to live in the hostel, I have heard good things about it. The Wi-Fi was good, making it easier to communicate. The library and classrooms were excellent, the food was good in the canteen, and the medical facilities and sports were good.

Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable, no doubt about that. The teaching method was also good, with brainstorming case studies and PPT presentations on various industry scenarios. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. SEM exams were good, even during COVID-19.

Other: I chose it because I wanted to do an MBA. The best thing is all related to Marketing. Improvements can be made, including digital marketing courses, which will make the students future-ready.

The college’s environment was safe and it is situated in a very calm area.

Placements: 60 percent of the students got placed and the top company they were placed in were HDFC bank, Concentric, etc. The highest package offered was 8 Lacs per annum and the lowest was 4 Lacs per annum. The percentage of students getting internships was around 40 percent.

Infrastructure: The classrooms were nice with all the facilities available including digital classrooms. The hostel facilities were good, we got a nice room with good furniture and laundry services. The Wi-Fi connection was not so good, but the other things were nice.

Faculty: The teachers were well qualified with good teaching quality. The course curriculum was relevant and it made me industry ready. The college exams were neither difficult nor easy, but we can score a great CGPA. The passing percentage was 40 percent.

Other: I joined the course to learn about business management which will make it a plus point for my career. The thing which can be improved is organizing industrial visits.

Good for UG courses, Hospital Management, value for money, not so great for MBA.

Placements: Since my time at ICFAI University Sikkim was during the COVID-19 period, we did not get good placements for our batch. We were assured of placements, but this batch was disappointed with the placement cell. If you are joining this university just for placement, you need to think again.

Infrastructure: The hostel facility and campus are satisfactory. Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and libraries are on campus. However, taxis are not easily available near the college if you are staying in town. I have to hike a little to get a taxi to town. There is not much infrastructure for sports on the campus.

Faculty: The teachers are qualified, but the course and curriculum are not great. If you are planning to do an MBA and are a fresher, then I would recommend looking for B schools. The exams are not very difficult. If you are a working professional and just require an MBA degree, then ICFAI University Sikkim will be a good choice. However, attendance of 75% is a must.

Other: Overall, ICFAI University Sikkim is an average university.

Absolutely satisfied with the faculty.

Placements: We were the 2020 batch. Our semester was getting over by June 2020 and the campus recruitment process takes place from April to May. But unfortunately, at the end of March, the university had to close as Corona was in town and it was impossible for the company to visit the campus. Still, before losing, the campus had arranged for two companies for us. Out of 14 students, 2 were placed in good companies like Pantaloons and Axis Bank. The packaging that was provided to them was 3.5 lacs per annum. The role that they got was that of manager.

Infrastructure: The ambience of ICFAI Sikkim is very pleasant for students who are really seeking education. The university provides Wi-Fi access inside the campus area. It also has a proper library and computer lab for the students. We also had a game room; during free time, we used to play table tennis and chess to keep us active. We also had a canteen for the students, and the price was so reasonable, providing an advantage to the students.

Faculty: The plus point of ICFAI Sikkim is the faculty members. I really appreciate their hard work and dedication to providing students with a quality education. They are well-qualified faculty members. The courses that they provide are relevant to making the student ready for their chosen industries.

ICFAI University helped me a lot in building me.

Placements: More than 30% of the students were placed in our course. The average package offered was around 7lakh to 9 LPA and the top companies came for placements like Byjus, Pantaloons and many more. Most of the students were selected for the internship.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is super cool. The library, the classrooms, and the corridors were amazing and comfortable. The Facilities provided by the college were really impressive. Our college organizes an inter-college competition every 2 years.

Faculty: The teachers were really helpful to us whenever we needed help, they were always ready to help. The semester exams were challenging for the students which motivated students to focus on their studies and life goals. The subjects of the course were interesting.

Other: I chose this course because I was very clear from the start that I'm going to do something in business.

Infrastructure: 1. To be honest, ICFAI UNIVERSITY SIKKIM is providing all the facilities to all the students including- lab, Wi-Fi, classroom, projectors, library and many more like smart class. 2. The university is providing all the facilities like- hostel where the food is good and delicious with wide area of infrastructure. It also provides the sick room. We have a playground for the sports facilities and the canteen also provides delicious food at a reasonable price.

Faculty: 1. The teachers are professional and are very helpful, qualified, skillful and knowledgeable. The teaching is very good as students can easily gain knowledge from them. 2. The course curriculum is relevant. It is very true that the course provided in the university is helpful for the industry and corporate world.

Other: I choose this course because it is very helpful for me to gain knowledge and skills about the industry which I am going to face in the practical world. Every year fests and events are organised for students to participate apart from the academic. The scholarships are provided for all the students who got merit rank.
