Moderate teaching. You can enjoy your college life. Friendly facilities.
Placements: 60% can easily be placed by having more than 8 GPA. Best of all is BCA. My placement story has been one of a roller coaster ride. There have been so many ups and downs throughout this journey, but by God's grace, I came out victorious. This roller coaster ride started in the 3rd year. So straight into the first month of the 3rd year, companies started to come for internships. I was an average student with a very average pointer of 7.96. This is where the journey of getting rejected started.
Infrastructure: My placement story has been one of a roller coaster ride. There have been so many ups and downs throughout this journey, but by God's grace, I came out victorious. Faculty: Helpful in clarifying doubts. The facilities and amenities were amazing. We loved the luxurious rooms and pool area, with delicious meals served. I personally have learned a lot from my BCA degree, but I can't say the same for others. I had a little bit of interest in coding but no knowledge about coding. I tried to get into B. Tech (CSE or IT), but because of my low marks in +2, I couldn’t secure admission there. In my 3 years of BCA, I’ve learned 4–5 programming languages and Android Development (self-taught). One of my apps has crossed 50k downloads monthly.

Youth of November (my journey to higher life).
Placements: Our college does not provide placements. A very few like 1 or 2 may get recruited, but I don't know. The internship count is also very low. The demand for BCA is increasing and because of more students, classes are divided into many sections. BCA degree can get to work as a developed but not so soon.
Infrastructure: Our college has beautiful greenery and flowers. It has a separate block for each department. The hostel is also separate as per the shifts. Food and snacks are available in the canteen. The mess also provides snacks and food for hostel students. Auxilium College students have more interest in sports. Our college is also encouraging them by having sports days and competitions.
Faculty: The staff members are very approachable and friendly. All faculty members are well-qualified and knowledgeable. Most of them have more than 10 years of experience in teaching. The college curriculum is improving. Semester exams are tough as per the subject.

Placements are so bad.
Placements: There are no placements in the IT sector companies. They don't even come and try to filter students for tier companies. Only electronics assembly companies come and offer you a Rs. 12,000 salary job. Company HR also never comes; only staffing companies come for placements.
Infrastructure: There is no hostel in the college. There is one canteen that does not look like a canteen, but that's the canteen. Having Wi-Fi, they will not share the password with you. Still under construction is one building; since I joined, there has been no opening. That auditorium also does not look good, like a bus shed.
Faculty: You have to study on your own. Faculty are also students in college; they don’t know anything. In computer-related courses, they don't teach how to use the computer for coding, trying to skip that part for every student. There aren’t sufficient systems and software either.
Other: Whatever, but they are trying to improve themselves.

Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) - Batch of 2026

Review of St.Joseph College of Arts and Science College.
Placements: 85 to 90 percent of students were placed with high-package companies. 10 LPA is the highest package. Tile Park is the top recruiter. Above 90 percent of students have gotten their internship and been placed with good companies like DLF and Amazon .
Infrastructure: No Wi-Fi is provided and mobile phones are strictly prohibited inside the campus. This is one of the strict college policies. Overall, there are not many facilities; classrooms are like old museums, dusted and slightly comfortable; and there is the world's smallest library on this campus. There is the worst food in the college; hygienic food was provided for all students in the hostel mess, medical facilities are not provided, and sports and games are not much better .
Faculty: Teaching quality is for some faculty members only; others are not as educated. But few teachers are very skilled at teaching lessons and crafts. A little bit nice about the course curriculum about the students. Semester examinations are conducted as well, like all the colleges and the pass percentage is 70%.
Other: I'm choosing this course for my own wish and I chose it because of the career guidance program, and the best thing is that it's slightly easy to study and has good subjects. The improvement is that the college needs to implement some practical approaches in the class and some motivating sessions will boost the students interest in studying. Other activities of this college are poor, as I require not much in terms of any type of event or function being conducted .

Overall, it is a good college with great infrastructure surrounded by greenery.
Placements: Students got placed in the IT sector companies. More companies came to the college for the recruitment and students gave interviews, and some of them got selected with a good salary. Placements are good but no popular companies are coming but schools and other upcoming companies are.
Infrastructure: The college has great infrastructure and smart classes. Wi-Fi and lab facilities are great for computer students. We have an amazing infrastructure and the student corners are places where students can chill for some time. It is a plastic-free campus surrounded by greenery, and the smart library is also very useful.
Faculty: Faculty members are good and approachable and for exams, they have a method of taking question papers by the computer. The curriculum is also good; they give equal importance to everything but education is the first priority and the syllabus I studied for BCA covered the overall subjects needed .
Other: Everything is great in this college; it is disciplined and the education is also very good. They also give importance to sports and other events .

About lecture in English, promote sports, and students use bad slang, this should get better.
Placements: In our course BCA, there are 3 sections, and all together total would be around 120-150. This is 2nd year BCA student and similar to 1st and 3rd years. To be honest, till now none of our classmates got package but some of them are doing part time work (related to course). Less percentage of students get internships. Top priority is programming rather than maths, accounting, etc.
Infrastructure: Our department does not have Wi-Fi. I am a local student so I don't stay in hostel. In sports, few faculty show interest, most of the faculty avoid sports and games. If students want to go some faculty members don't let them go, and they say sports are waste of time.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are qualified, supportive, and experienced in their subject areas. They explain concepts in a simple and understandable way. The teaching quality is generally good, and some teachers go beyond the syllabus by providing real-world examples and extra materials. However, the quality can vary slightly depending on the subject or department. The autonomous curriculum is regularly updated, and it covers important industry-related topics like programming languages (C, C+, java, python), web development, database management (SQL, MySQL), data structures, cloud computing and cybersecurity. Semester exams are moderately difficult. If you attend class easily, you can pass. The pass percentage is 50-60%. Good thing about faculty members is that they are friendly but all of them take their respective lectures in Tamil language, which makes other language students like Urdu students, Hindi students, etc. I find it difficult to understand the lectures.
Other: My aim is ITs and best is that they teach all that I imagine. Sports things should be promoted, and most of the students use their phones for time pass like playing games, scrolling reels, etc., which should be cut.
