No, VIT Vellore admissions are not solely based on VITEEE. The university conducts VITEEE for BTech admission, VITMEE for MTech admissions and VITREE for PhD admission. The Vellore Institute of Technology has announced the VITMEE exam dates on the official website. VITMEE exam was scheduled for April 28, 2026 and May 3, 2026. Applicants had to carry their VITMEE admit card along with one valid photo ID proof at the exam centre.

The internship percentage is also more than 90 percent.
